In this video I give the most powerful method for memorising the Quran used by many students and that I used myself.

1, how fluent are you at reading the ayat whilst looking at it?
2, read it 10-33 times
3, close Mushaf
4, Read 10-33 times perfectly no looking at all - recorded so you can check mistakes.
5, Next Ayat looking at it 10-33 times
6, close and from memory repeating 7, 10-33 times.
7, Stay with process till you reach half a page x repeat 10 times Isha time.
Repeat Fajr 10x time.
Find a teacher as it is read heart to heart and you need tajweed.

the 7 days you're talking about in the indo/pak lands, we call it sabqi. this should be between 20 to 30 days. around 20 days is when short-term memory transitions into long-term memory

Can you do a video on how listening can help with memorization. How often should you listen? Should one memorize by oneself first and then listen to a qari later so that the memorization consolidates? And what if you hear a qari and you like his recitation, but you can't imitate him and he stops in places where you wouldn't stop, his breath is longer than yours and all these problems? It would be great if you could do a video about that.

Practice,practice, practice. Any alone time you have listen to you favorite reciters and listen to surah u know and don’t know. I drive a lot so I’m always listening to Quran which improved me voice. Also in the beginning your voice will crack and u will feel awkward but don’t let that stop you. After a bit ur voice will get used to it. Also take care of your throat. My Quran teacher gives me ginger tea and coughs drops.

The ones mentioned in the video should be enough.
Though you can increase the repetition numbers to around 250-500 instead of 10-33, this way the memorization becomes almost like imprinted in your brain.

Imam Shafi (Rahimahullaah), said to his teacher Imam Waki ibn Jarah. I have poor memory, so Imam Waki said. Stop sinning. So his momery improved.
Problem for us we don't know what is sins. So we have to read the book of Kabair (70 Major Sins) of Imam Dhabi, And need to do thoubah for major sins and Istighfār for other sins.
When we do sins the black spots and cover the heart
كلا بل ران على قلوبهم ما كانوا يكسبون
So memorising and Fiqh of the deen not possible. العلم is Noor it won't go to fasiq. Sinner. Especially music. If music and many images of women in your heart. Noble Quran and hadeeth won't be there

May Our good God guide you in your journey , may He open your heart and mind to hearing His voice in the truth/ not the darkness and the delusion that is the Koran and the illusion that is Muhammad. Don’t just be content with what you may see on the surface that looks benign / Muhammad was not a good man by anyone’s standards. I think you know this and the contradictions of the Koran are numerous. Don’t lose heart, if you are searching, may God bless you. The truth is out there but the Koran is not the way.😢
