I mean, it's all nice now, but if in a few years new regulations say they'll have to be taken out, you'll have no choice but to remove them. It's not unthinkable, after all there must be a reason why they wouldn't give permits for a 'regular' pool, right?
The pool for this house is included in within the actual title deeds (paperwork) for the house as a permanent fixture. Even if regulations were to change around pools, the government cannot force you to remove something you legally own.
