I watched a groundhog happily munching away in my garden 2 feet from a rag dripping with ammonia. I'll try the pie tins. Last year we dispatched 12 or 13 of them. They're not cute to me anymore!
Definitely not cute anymore! They are more like evil doers sent from down below. They are eating holes in my wooden fence and destroying my back yard. The battle continues 🪖
This is a very effective and CHEAP way to repel them away from your home/property: Use full strength floral scented Fabuloso and pour in all holes you find close to your house and porch and sprinkle around property. The groundhogs and other pests will not hang around and will find other places (neighbor's house) to live. The varmints and maybe the neighbors, will hate you and your home will smell like wildflowers. *Don't put on or near food garden; go to the perimeter. Let me know, if this works for you too.
Thanks a lot for the awesome comment!!!!! Will definitely try if we have more problems!! And our little groundhog friend does currently reside at the neighbors lol!
Oh prairie dogs!! They’re so cute !!! Seriously though. We sprayed the perimeter of everything at our house for about a week and then we had no more visitors ! They did not like that ammonia smell. I’m not sure if your little guys are more difficult to evict ! Good luck and please keep us updated! We are curious!!!! Have a good day!
@@quietplaces2018 NW Wyoming! Yes, the prairie dogs, like squirrels, are very cute, but like squirrels very destructive. Squirrels got into my attic when I lived in Virginia and did $2800 worth of damage. Here, first it was the chipmunks (but they don't hurt much), then the pocket gophers (the prairie dogs threw them out) and now if I don't get the PDs under control the next thing will be the badgers and they dig burrows the size of WWII bunkers. :( Are you saying you sprayed everything every day for a week? I will need to get more ammonia!
They are cute up to the point where I yell "I see you! Keep your fuzzy butt outta my garden!" 😂. They like to climb and sit on top of our 3 foot chain link fence that borders our yard. They live under our shed and have babies each year. They showed up after I planted my first garden during the pandemic. The whole neighborhood planted gardens. Front yard, back yard, everywhere.
@quietplaces2018 i dont find rodents that cause thousands of dollars of damage and destroy gardens cute..sorry lol....people who have never faced the wrath of groundhogs think they are cute, but people who have been victims dont find them cute at all
I guess they figured the rent was cheap enough and you guys thought it would not matter if they moved in! LOL All kidding aside they can destroy your foundation and yard fast! Thanks for the information.😊

Oh no!!!! Your poor garden!!! That’s so frustrating! We had another one in our garden again this year but the ammonia worked again for us.

Great ideas! My friends in Narvon have a similar problem with rabbits. Wonder if this will work for them too?
Hopefully it will work. Feel free to share this video with them! I know each time it rains you have to reapply the ammonia.
Definitely not cute
Lol. I think they’re cute as long as they’re not in my garden :)
