Black girl at my work just came out as Republican today and I was like awesome, but be careful here our bosses are super far left. My GM goes on 20 minute hateful rants everytime she sees a Trump hat. One actually said "you guys are all liberal right? I'm pretty sure you're all good people, right?"(cause the world is that simple). She was like IDGAF fire me and started mentioning she's a republican in front of everyone that would listen. She says she likes how mad people get when she tells them. Work is now slightly less politically isolating, and she's now a little cooler and funner to talk to. And that's my Ted talk. Do you know where the energy/electricity that powers electric cars from? A large portion is from coal/(natural gas) which is used to produce a significant portion of America’s energy infrastructure.
When is paying $2.00 for a gallon of gas bad, when I was 16-20 years old gasoline was near $3.75-4.25 per gallon. I can’t remember the last time I heard someone complain about gas prices, it had to have been several years.
And I was under the impression that the wildfires were a result of poor / underfunded state forestry park & wildlife services, who’s local citizens didn’t understand the importance of controlled burning and protested at the idea. If you can elaborate on how global climate change caused the wildfires, ill read the sources you provide.

I’m a freshman and I’m most likely the only conservative in the school. People tell me apparently that mothers are more important than fathers, which is wrong. You need BOTH of your parents.
I'd like to offer you some advice as a young man that unfortunately isn't readily passed around. Although of course it's up to you how much of it you would like to consider.
Live below your means, keep a budget and make monthly investments no matter how small. Over 50 years even $50 a month will turn you into a millionaire, and a $1000 one-time deposit over the same time frame returns roughly $250k. The average annual return in the stock market is 10%, which means a doubling of a deposit after 7 years on average (do your own Math/budgeting to check what you could achieve and then choose a goal to work towards, keep reconsidering it whenever you reach a new milestone in life). You achieve this rate by investing into a sufficiently broad basket of stocks for a sufficiently long period of time. The longer you stay in the closer you get to 10%. The easiest way to do this is to simply buy into the large indices. Anyone who really wants to can have upward of $10 Million around the age of 50 to 60.
Planning this out early will give you the freedom, time and resources that you need to raise the best children that you can, while also giving you leverage to support companies and research that you consider valuable to humanity (or yourself).
The more people get on this ship the faster humanity will progress in all areas, be it solving hunger, curing all diseases, curing/ending aging or anything else that might seem like fiction right now.

I can totally relate. I'm Canadian and I've been voting for left leaning parties for 26 years. I believed the left was the champion of civil liberties, human rights, diversity, inclusion and tolerance for so long. But that is not the case at all, the left is intolerant, anti-diverse and exclusionary to anyone who thinks or speaks or questions out of line. I never ever thought I would see a day where I would shift to the conservative side of the spectrum and here I am.

I am good at biology and there always used to be this girl that asked me for help like daily. One day she started distancing herself and I didn't know why. I asked some time later and she explained that I was a trump supporter. Apperently everyone started saying that I'm a trump supporter because I liked that he got rid of useless regulations from the government, since I'm a libertarian. I had to kind of fake my political beliefs in school to even have a nice conversation with people especially girls, since they care about social issues most. I don't agree with many things in feminism but I cannot stand up and express my opinion on it since I don't wanna lose friends. There is this dude in this class and once he called me the N word, I low key wasn't bothered by it at all even if I'm brown, I don't give two shits. Suddenly everyone treated me like I experienced the worst shit ever, to the point the class made me promise to speak up to my teacher about it, AGAIN I COULDN'T CARE LESS. This kind of crap really needs to stop, all this hostility against conservatives isn't helping anyone and we should respectful debates, not shunning people away

I am a Mexican-American, but an American FIRST!!! I am a Combat Veteran with the US Army, and I am a Patriot. I grew up Democrat, and I hated the Republican Right. Then Ronald Reagan came along, and I opened my eyes to the truth, I voted for Reagan and oddly enough, I entered the Army that same year! I have seen the hate from the left grow every day, and it appears that the hate is now a norm and actually required. With the exception of my daughter, my nephew (also a Combat Veteran), and one niece, my whole family, including my Son, is liberal. The fact that it is within the best interest of a country to close its border in order to maintain a legal flow of inmigrants. The fact that most illegal inmigrants are not willing to live by the values of the USA (some may, but definitely not all). The fact that illegal inmigration do cost money and resources to a country (which México is suffering as well: the flow of south American inmigrants is now getting stagnated in the Mexican border cities, causing several infrastructure damages by some riots). But most likely by the fact that no matter your situation, crossing illegaly to a country is a crime, no matter if you are Mexican, venezolano, cuban, and so on, nothing justifies going above any law.
But I couldnt understand that I was heavily biased until I started watching Ben Shapiro videos. I was full emotion and not very factual.
We mexicans are very emotional, we tend to play the victim card too easily and often, we like to make racial joke but we do not stand being joked about. We have a fake reality of what The American Dream is, we think it is a God given right to just enter a foreing country and expect the live like a king. Silly I that used to believe that. Once I started reading, searching and educating myself I walk away from the so called left party as well in my country (not the USA). I was blinded by all the things they were stuffing down the throat by media. I was really suffocated on the inside. After opening my eyes I really accepted everyone as they were and are. Luciano Martinez not all candidates represent the left as the media displays it. In fact, none of them really do besides maybe Kamala Harris and Gillibrand. Most of them just want a new healthcare system. However, you have people like Yang who cares more about the economy and Gabbard who cares more about international affairs (an anti-war position). If you want to vote for Trump, go ahead, but you should at least consider some of the objectives of these people and see if they appeal to you rather than just voting Trump because he worked for you during this term.

I'm a former DEM (Indy now) who voted Johnson but will most likely vote Trump because of how far left the DEM's have gone.
