    You all are great. Fine visuals, fine content, interesting and nuanced presentations, limited vocal fry, engaging. But maybe a little less Brylcreem. Combined with a toss-up man-sweep, the hair oil carries things a bit into the 1950s greaser mode, which is like hearing the Fonz giving a geo talk. xx

    Very good video. Blue is my favorite color 💙💎 here's some more blue gems
    Chrysocolla: while not super blue, it's very nice. Like turquoise
    Aquamarine: a sky blue variety of beryl that gets color from iron
    Maxixe: deep blue beryl which has unstable color and must be placed somewhere dark fi avoid fading
    Hauyne: another ingredient for Lapis Lazuli which it's deep ocean blue color
    Sodalite is another ingredient and very common to find. Rarily cut but has a blueish to purple Tenebreascent variant known as Hackmanite
    Sapphire, super blue thanks to titanium and star Sapphires are out of this world!
    Blue Spodumene is very rare and has the same weakness as Maxixe Beryl. Still very valuable
    Dumortierite is rarely cut and often found as radiating crystals inside quartz. But has a lovely blue color
    Benitoite is a very rare gemstone found only in Saint Benito California with a unique cobalt blue as it's main color !
    Sapphirine is a darker blue gem and white different from sapphire. It has a dark to icey blue to green color.
    Blue Garnet is very rare. Only being seen from our eyes as a color change Garnet.
    Kyanite is another blue gemstone that's often cut but it's quite fragile. Color changing ones have also been found.
    Transparent moonstone with a blue flash is a very rare gemstone but breath taking!
    Apatite can be many colors as well as blue and it's very well loved for deep ocean blue colors at times
    Boleite is a rare mineral and gem often forming as very small crystals and even smaller gems. It's a highly sought after collector's item!
    Very rarely does Blue Serendibite ever show up. It's usually a very strong blue to turquoise but it's very rare also because often Serendibite often occurs as black crystals.
    Natural blue pearls are very rare and offer a lovely silvery blue coloration
    Blue diamonds are a rare gemstone which earns it's blue color thanks to Boron Atoms
    Anatase is a meta-stable Polymorph of Rutile and Brookite. With a deep to dark blue coloration and very nice looking crystals as well!
    Iolite Aka water sapphire is another blue gem. It's usually purple but also can be a deep blue color. It is Dichroic meaning In certian angles, it can go from blue to grey.
    Blue fluorite is soft but it's a nice gemstone to have as well especially color change fluorites. It's not to hard to obtain either
    Blue calcite can be found in some places and it's pretty nice to have, but be careful of it's cleavage points and hardness!
    Afghanite is yet another ingredient of Lapis Lazuli and it usually has a very deep blue color to boot, but can also appear as yellow to orange in florescent light.
    Gahnite is a blue mineral from the Spinel Group and can be a very rare blue gem along with the variety known as Ghanospinel.
    Very rarely Kornerupine can be blue but also mixed with purple and light green. A very colorful stone indeed!
    Extremely rare to find is Blue Hibonite exceedingly rare as a cut gemstone. Usually blue Hibonite is found in space.
    Ajoite is another rare gem that's bright blue often found in quartz and rarely cut as a gem.
    Cavansite is a rare gem to be cut but also quite common to find as an uncut mineral specimen
    Violane is a blue to purple variety of Diopside and quite rare
    Vorobyevite is a member of the Beryl Group and is quite uncommon to find but is very beautiful with it's Periwinkle Blue coloration
    Indicolite and Paraiba tourmaline are rare varieties of Tourmaline. Indicolite has a greenish to deep to dark blue color while Paraiba Tourmaline gets it's very bright blue coloration from copper
    Turquoise can range from well turquoise to blue and yellow . Rare deep turquoise to icey blue gems can be found.
    Amazonite is a Variety of Microcline with a very bright blue coloration and has been cut into gems sometimes.
    A very rare gem that is cut because of its rarity is known as Amblygonite usually giving off a blue-green coloration.
    There's other blue gems and meant blue minerals out there but I think I've said quite another here. Wonderful video as always 💙💙💙💙💙💎💎💎💎

    Why do you hold the gems on/between the back of your fingers? Enjoying the show. :)

    • @SelaDanae
      @SelaDanae ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The valleys formed between each finger help hold the stones in position so they’re not rolling all over in your hand, it keeps the sweat and oils of your palms of the stones, and you’re far less likely to drop the stone compared to if you were holding it between finger and thumb.

    • @DrachenGothik666
      @DrachenGothik666 ปีที่แล้ว

      There are no "spiritual" benefits of stones. They're just pretty rocks and don't do anything magical. Stick to reality and stop filling your head with fluff. Also, unnecessarily capitalizing the words"videos", "spiritual benefits" and "stone" makes you look like a pretentious, uneducated prat. Capitals are for proper names and the beginnings of sentences. That's it.

The incredible in this sapphire that turned out to be a diamond. As indicated by this tool, it turned out to be a blue diamond. I have no idea if the whole stone is a sapphire diamond, but it seems incredibly phenomenal to me.

    I prefer the color of tanzanite to the color of affordable sapphires. The great blues of sapphires are sooo expensive for a decent size stone. But I have only sapphire because I had to choose, and tanzanite (a 7) is softer and you must be careful of its exposure to the sun. I don't want to baby jewelry but wear it. I really think if you desired a big ole blue stone, topaz (an 8 in hardness) is the way to go. A clear and pretty blue that won't bankrupt you!

  • @hybridgoth

    As far as lazurite is concerned, It's been of special interest to me for quite a while, so, please forgive me while I info-dump on the subject;
    Whilst it is true that most specimens are considered opaque and display a rather dull lustre.
    In microscopic specimens however; translucency is often seen.
    In some more sizeable yet we'll crystallized specimens, a strong backlight can be used to illuminate the stone, and, when such well crystallized specimens are sliced in thin sections they are also observed to be translucent.
    I have personally only observed this myself in a single specimen mined many years ago, this particular specimen had a rather high lustre for the species; somewhere between greasy and low-vitreous, once polished a vitreous lustre became apparent.
    boleite, diaboleite and azurite are the only other minerals I've seen to display such rich ultramarine blue colour with diaphaneity, unfortunately, these others I mentioned are all too soft to set in functional jewellery.
    Also, for those keen on pseudomorphs, lazurite can be obtained in different pseudo forms replacing mica, scapolite and other minerals. 🙂

    This is great right along with most of your other videos. Its great that you show so many of the same kind of gem and the different forms it comes in.
    I do have a suggestion, could you please show what raw gems should look like that you would then be faceted and turned into jewelry. I see plenty of places on line to purchase stones/raw gems. But. how do you know how to acertain the quality beofore you spend money and time on it for it to be a dud when you finish. There spent money and time to have just had more practice on skills you already know.
    By the way I have learned so much from watching your videos.

    I almost can't believe that barrel topaz is real! That thing is MASSIVE! The Tanzanite with the flaw in it makes light go through it so the flawed piece looks pink while the rest of the stone flashes blue. Neat! Kinda sad you skipped Aquamarine and Larimar, though, both stones are lovely. One is my birthstone, & I have a big chunk as a pendant of the other.
