I remember visiting Chadstone as a child in the 1970's when it wasn't much more than Myer and a few dozen shops - amazing to think how big it is now. I haven't been there for quite a time and probably won't go back except for the Apple and Lego stores, neither of which have outlets anywhere near my country town.
What is the value of this video? What's the story? They built a shopping centre, you went there and ate some food and looked around. Vice? More like wannabe vlogger.. what a waste of 5 minutes
@@mikeohawk95 vice used to be amazing. They'd go to North Korea and secretly film everything. They'd go to Liberia and document human cannibalism as a weapon of war. And now look where they are.
“Capitalism themed adventureland” dude its literally just a regular shopping centre. Chadstone is like every shopping centre I’ve ever been too, there’s nothing more capitalistic or spectacular about it. Also there is no culture in chadstone the suburb, its just a regular suburb. Literally what?!?
With such a fascinating subject matter, I am shocked by how little I learned by the end of the video

I avoid Chadstone… finding a car park is horrendous. Doesn’t matter how much they continually expand it.
I grew up in the states in queens NY and visted queens malls and atlas park, aka 30% of us malls retaining despite the mass mall closures worldwide
Been here once when I was visiting the Mornington Peninsula. I wouldn't want to be visiting the centre on a weekend or leading up to Christmas...
I need a gf to react to me the way Aleksandra reacts to her bowl of food.
Used to live behind Chaddy in the 90’s, it was a black hole for disposable income even back then. Avoid it like the plague now.
This is terrible ‘journalism’
It's so lazy.

Current,y malls only appeal to the locality or simple minded people worldwide
