    First of all , this video is so outdated and there's no date in it. Second , some of the translations are very wrong, like the first monk spoke about Muslims eating halhal ( of cutting throat, the monk thinks this is a bad way to kill animals while the other methods may be more painful idk ) and the translate writes "we can't regard them as human beings" he never said it, he said , not ALL but "MOST" muslims are extreme etc. Third , these monks have only small number of supporters and majority of people are just living their life. Watch out for devious video with wrong intentions.

    We cannot deny that some Buddhists are truly Islamophobic. You see the first monk who approves the assault but you can also see the second monk who is in the same region when it happened, letting muslins to take refuge in his monastery. There were also some local Buddhists who give shelter to their muslin neighbors during that crisis. On the same page, there are many muslin communities who gives and donates to many Buddhists during in time of crisis. There is indeed harmony, at least there are people from both sides trying to build the harmony. However, it is sad that they cannot express it in public, otherwise they might be branded as outcasts.

      No, not thousands of years. However, Muslims arrived there prior to the founding of the first Burmese Empire. Not long before but in the 9th Century. The First Burmese Empire was founded in 1055 CE. They've been there for over 1000 years though. Interestingly they are still found in the same coastal areas that they inhabited 1000 years ago and not really any other areas of Myanmar, so they are probably not really a threat as they'd have moved into the rest of the country if they had ambitions of an Islamic nation.

It is being used as a weapon of asymmetric warfare upon the USA by its country of origin. We can fully expect some reckoning in the future. Opium is far more preferable than Fentanyl.

    Sounds like efforts to stigmatize opiates.
    I perceive that Big Pharma wants to keep prices for these medicines artificially inflated or perhaps they are rolling out new, patented pain killers of a different sort which they will tout as being non addictive and safe, all because opioids are losing their patentability.
    The vast majority of opiate users do not get addicted, per research from Columbia University. Approximately 75-80% of opiate users do not have any problem with this drug.
    We don’t have an opiate crisis, if anything, we have an ignorance crisis. People who use opiates correctly live happier, healthier, more productive lives than people who don’t, but because Big Pharma is so pathetically driven towards greed and profits, most people don’t have reliable access to opiates, and this needs to change.
    Every household in the world should have a medicine cabinet with opiates in it, so long as they aren’t harming anyone with them.

    • @Kat-amber-t2z
      @Kat-amber-t2z หลายเดือนก่อน

      Actually there's evidence that it's down to genetic variation. Most people react normally, i.e. they have the most common gene variant. With a strong social safety net and decent mental health care, they should have no risk serious of addiction. Some, like me, have a genetic mutation that make us relatively tolerant of many medications. Only strong opioids even work on us, and we can't become addicted because they simply don't hit us that hard. There's no bliss or whatever other people experience. If it's Dilaudid or stronger then we do feel a decrease in pain, and that is good, but still no bliss or whatever. But the weaker ones they prescribe normal cases like sprains and broken bones to take at home aren't even worth taking, they're like taking sugar pills. Others, on the other hand, have the opposite mutation- opioids and the others hit them like a ton of bricks and they likely have an unusually high risk of developing addictions to opioids even if their life is going well and to be unable to break it. I believe that we need to start genetically screening pain patients and tailoring the treatment to their risk of addiction to lesson the danger.

    • @D4V3.0H
      @D4V3.0H หลายเดือนก่อน

      Absolutely 💯 even after major surgery doctors will only prescribe you 2-3 weeks of opiate medication like oxycodone or percs they are so scared but they don't even help only slightly takes the edge off for an hour or two and you end up take the whole bottle in a week the media scares people into thinking opiates are this crazy potent drug when it's not and it's not fair for people who need it and makes it extremely hard to get. So majority of people go to the street and get hooked on fent or h which Is expensive and hard to find a solid source
