I appreciate that SOMEONE remembers the P Louise owner being racist and posting herself saying the n word… refusing to apologize or take accountability… then “apologizing” only to make a palette mocking the whole thing called cancelled. 🙄 As a black woman who enjoys the beauty community, it’s annoying to also have to deal with racist shenanigans in a space that’s supposed to be for playing in makeup AND already has limited diversity. Just so you know: that rainbow palette, the people I have seen try it, says it's their favourite rainbow palette this far. Not only because of the multichrome and amazing shimmers, but because their mattes are so versatile, even though it's not a lot of them🤩 If this isn't a limited edition, I at least would love to see a review from you, when things calm down a little bit/when you don't have that much going on behind the scenes. Hey Angie, I just wanted to let you know about a couple of Spellbound Beauty’s palettes. I have the Oracle, which is a really pretty matte and satin jewel tone palette that performs pretty good. Then I have the Witchcraft palette which is 6 mattes and 9 really good duo and multi chromes. I actually hit massive pan on one of the multi chromes. I think the Oracle palette was an earlier formula. But as a makeup enthusiast I think it’s totally worth it to try out the brand. And actually I picked up the palettes last year from the brand so they have been around for a while. If you have any other questions please let me know!❤

I literally only used/ had the ELF mega eyeshadow holiday palette for years until I discovered your TH-cam channel this past spring. The pigmentation and quality is nothing compared to these indie brands. After receiving my first few indie brand palettes from Beauty Bay I trashed it. I have always been the...make my makeup match my clothes girly so I loved having all the colors. Now I just try and make sure my palettes equal almost any color I would need. Only indie brands with possibly the exception of Colour Pop and Juvias Place eyeshadow palettes I won't waste my time or money. Indie brands are so amazing. My collection now includes Unearthly, Blend Bunny, and Jolie Beauty too.
I love that eye look -- reminds me of a butterfly (Blue Morpho). Regarding the Black Friday sales, even though I don't shop them much I like knowing the information, because it helps me with understanding what kind of sales and when different brands do them, which helps me decide when to buy something.

The problematic behavior was one incident I’m pretty sure. She was rapping along to a rap song and she rapped the N-word. Then when people freaked out, she refused to apologize (or gave a half serious apology eventually) and later released a product called “Canceled”. Immature? Sure. But I’m too old to care. Plus, it was durning the time when people were getting called out for sneezing in the wrong direction so I don’t know. I totally get if people don’t want to support certain people but I’m one of the people who doesn’t care. I’ll buy from anyone if I like the product. That’s capitalism.

The P.Louise palette reminds me of the ones Sephora used to do around Christmas that had like 99 colors plus blush , and God knows what else .

I absolutely love P. Louise eyeshadow primer but I was unaware of problematic behavior!
The problematic behavior was one incident I’m pretty sure. She was rapping along to a rap song and she rapped the N-word. Then when people freaked out, she refused to apologize (or gave a half serious apology eventually) and later released a product called “Canceled”. Immature? Sure. But I’m too old to care. Plus, it was durning the time when people were getting called out for sneezing in the wrong direction so I don’t know. I totally get if people don’t want to support certain people but I’m one of the people who doesn’t care. I’ll buy from anyone if I like the product. That’s capitalism.
