Let me try to decipher this ancient text of avarost : Magilou is definitely hot because she has me under her crush...all i can think about is how to fuck her silly
The music is not listed in the description box, so I'll just list the music here: It's _Waluigi's Island_ from Mario Party 3 and _a bunch of Castlevania music_. I lied. Here's the actual list: • Magilou's Theme (Tales of Berseria) • Wings of Fate (Caladrius) • Cocoa's Theme (Phantom Breaker) • Ebony Wings (Castlevania: Harmony of Despair) • Argentum Aeternitas (Xe) • Burning Halloween Town (Deathsmiles) • Vs. Remilia (Koumajou Densetsu II: Stranger's Requiem)
I honestly don't know what's happening whenever I see Magi I played her and I still didn't know what was happening Everything just seems to die while the screen becomes increasingly colorful
It's all part of the plan to give the weird ones some much needed love. ( ^w^) I had some other Berseria stuff I wanted to show, but I've been extremely busy as of late. I plan to upload more Berseria videos in the near future however.
Without mimicking everyone else lol, I do have to say this character fit like a glove for you (as expected, since she IS Adult Elize + the randomness of Patty). Hat's off to you and your creativity and ski- I mean love of the character/playstyle/dynamic as a whole. When I watch one of your solos, I can feel the love of what you're doing which is part of what I enjoy the most about it. Even in the case of some crap bosses (like everything from Xillia 2).
Ah yes, Xillia 2 and their collection of butt-tacular bosses. I don't know exactly how to word it, but everyone seems to have this able to pull off badass and unique combos. I don't mean to sound like everyone is similar to each others. Each player seems to have their own flare, yet to me, it as if everyone has access to some hidden combo list that I'm not aware of. While I like fighting games, I've never been excellent at them. The highest win % I had in any fighting might be Soulcalibur V with 60~70%. You kicked my ass in Persona and Blazblue, Rem kicked my ass in Dead or Alive, and I've lost count of the number of boots I caught in Smash Bros. Needless to say, I'm lacking, but I have something that I do enjoy having. However, because I'm doing challenge runs, people might believe that I'm better than I actually am, which is not what I'm aiming for. The lack of failed attempts being shown plays a role in this. I could be wrong, but I'm sure there are others out there who might feel the same way. I'm sure a number of people think I'm a pro in Soulcalibur because of my Legendary Souls videos. On that note, I must apologize twice. While I am honestly impressed with how you went from simply commenting on videos to showing up out of nowhere like Randy's RKOs and pulling off some stylish stuff, I have been praising you in a way that probably made you set your own bar higher than you'd prefer. I know it's not always a bad thing to set the bar high, but that can and does add pressure which can cause other problems, so I am sorry about that. And the other reason is because of my disappearance, so I maybe this is three apologizes. Actually, make that four. I've read this comment before, but didn't know how to reply and now I'm late as all hell. I messing up! ( ºnº)/ I've still have plenty of work to do. I'm not going to beat myself up over it however, nor do I want pity! If I'm going to improve, then I gotta work harder at it. I still got to make that video explaining a few things too. Holy shit. Anyways, I know this is late, but have a good day! Ciao!
Miraclechao No worries, I've never thought of your appreciation as the cause for my stupidly high self-standards. I've just kinda been in the dumps lately over a family issue, but that's neither here nor there. I do think it's good to have standards, but my struggle partially comes from where I should draw the line, yeah. What or whom am I pleasing or doing this for if I restrict myself so much and nitpick over everything? It's a hard question, heh. Tbh, I still don't think combos are my forte, but I am glad you like them. I've always been more of a fan of the movement in a solo than the combos as a whole. I was actually watching some of your old Patty stuff the other day and smiled when I saw those Gald Stall dodges of old. Let's just say it's not a coincidence that I uploaded a Vesperia vid recently. I have no place to talk about late replies myself, look at me, 5 days late. The way I see it, I'm just glad I can maintain some form of contact with you. As such, I hope you're keeping well as well!
If only it was really "Playtime with Magilou" when I was recording some of the footage. She has a number of slow attacks, but they tend to have great crowd control, high stun, or they have a high chance of landing status ailments. I'm sure most players will prefer playing as the other cast members over her (due to her artes, her situational Soul Break, and her even more situational third Mystic Arte), but if she fits your preference, then she's a blast.
She seems to be super fun though~ And looking at the battle, it looked like she was toying with the enemies a bit, until the end. Though I must say, I was not expecting her to have so much range with her attacks... Beating Eleanor with some of them.
Thank you. I hope to put more editing in my videos in the future. I also can't wait for January. I want to play Gravity Rush 2! And grab the localized Berseria as well. ( •w•)
Berseria's release date? From what I'm told, the NA release is on the 24th of January, four days after Gravity Rush 2. The EU release and worldwide PC release for Berseria is on the 27th of January. I'm not sure if they changed it or not, but those were the dates iirc.
Miraclechao I think I missed reading that tutorial. Do I buy and sell to level it up? or Enhance and Dismantle? Also, will you do more Magilou vids? I love this one a lot. Will take notes.
If I recall, everything you do in the shop will help increase the Shop Level. Buying, selling, and pulling together or taking apart your equipment should do. I didn't start messing with the equipment until post-game, so buying and selling items should be more than enough to get Shop Level 6 before endgame. Once I get the ENG version of Berseria, then I'll definitely do more Magilou videos.
The opening video was an experiment. Part of it was because I just wanted to use a _certain someone's_ voice. For editing, I used Sony Vegas, but I've been using Premiere Pro as of late. There's a few nice things in Premiere Pro, but since I don't have After Effects, it just feels weak compared to Sony Vegas. ...and here comes the wall of text full of pointless trivia. Anyways, the main reason about behind the opening (and the editing in general). The main reason is because of the impression I might be giving to others. I'm not saying that I'm bad at playing games or anything, but I think my style and my preference clash with the fact that I do challenge runs. I like battles that keep me moving no matter how long the battle takes, especially when there's a clear struggle. Dodging attacks in unorthodox ways, near-death moments, having to come up with different plans mid-battle, and those other shenanigans add to the whole experience for me. That said, when it comes to the advanced stuff, compared to others, I'm clearly lacking. Again, I'm not trying to sell myself short, but I know for a fact that doing unique combos on the fly/on different videos was never and will probably never not be a strong point of mine. I don't get any joy out of defeating a boss quickly unless the battles has some of those silly or special moments. To help with this, I did some thinking and decided that a tiny bit of editing would help. For example, the opening for this video and the brief period between each battle gives off a goofy vibe to subtract from the potential mindset that: A. I am an extremely highly skilled player and I rarely make mistakes. B. My sense of humor is so high-class that it's beyond comprehension. I want people to know that I'm just someone who happens to enjoy doing a few self-imposed challenges and throwing the footage in some editing software. I'm not a pro by any means. I have a very dark sense of humor. I laugh a stupid crap all the time. I don't want people to feel like they can't joke around because I upload challenge runs (which may give people the impression that I'm "All Work, No Play"). I simply play, record, edit, upload, and enjoy reading comments from all of you. I can name a number of people who are super good at Tales challenge runs. Everyone has something that helps them stand out from each others which can range from play-styles, types of challenges, and more. I think I have an understanding on what makes Miraclechao "Miraclechao. I'm attempting to make it stand out more by getting rid of the idea that I'm a *Super Serious Pro Player*.
Oh, don't worry. I know you are in for the fun. Like me. Why would I start doing crap like 4 Luke in battle if not for fun? I love the editting by the way. It show much love you put into the video
Sorry to bother you again. But I am trying to do the accumulate Magilou's break soul gauge point from that video and document you shared. It said to quickstep or dodge for the spell not to iniciate, but I am trying to do that even so still does her break soul spells. Do I need another item to cancel it out so I can save her gauge points?
That's fine. Unfortunately, the only way to cancel Magilou's Spell Absorber is to use a quickstep after Magilou absorbs the spell and before she unleashes it. There's no item needed for it, but you'll have to be careful of the Slow status ailment since it will prevent Magilou from canceling Spell Absorber. I might try to make a video on the subject.
Miraclechao Hmm. Will try my best then. Thought it was gonna be easy, but that is the charn of the game. May look easy but it has complexity. Hope I am able to finally quickstep fast enough.
It's a key item you get after defeating one of those strong optional monsters. Not the Dire Foes, but the rare monsters you find roaming the world. Once you have it, hold your spell once it is fully charged and press _some_ button to go into the next spell. I haven't touched this game in years, so I can't remember what monster or button it is.
I use it like that to increase the number of actions I am doing. Actions being attacks and sidesteps. As long as I don't stop, I can cast spells much faster (and use the second Mystic Arte instead of the first one). Also, there's the invincibility frames during the break soul animation, plus any attack used after the break soul will become unblockable (which is good for status ailments and stun).
Maybe a stupid question, but I don’t totally understand her break skill. Why do you use spell absorber if no enemy is casting? Does it have another effect?
No worries. I don't think your question is stupid. I'll be happy to answer you. ( ^w^)/ Magilou's (and if I recall, Rokurou's) Break Soul will allow their next attack to become unblockable. Also, using it keeps Magilou in motion. As long as Magilou doesn't stop attacking/dodging, she can continue to cast faster spells and use her second Mystic Arte. The unblockable stun attacks and Mystic Artes will help Magilou keep enough souls to make this a worthwhile trade.
nah, on pc you can download all the dlc content and just paste the folder in your gamedata folder, so it's not really a problem for me. I just didnt found this costume. (my bro found it and applied to its savefile.) Another question, have you unlocked +10 lvl items? i'm wanting to upgrade all my gear to lvl 10 (no ng+) but i didnt found any info about this. Do you know if it's possible to make all gears +10 and in the first playthrough?
After you ran through the final dungeon, right before the final boss fight, a bunch of side quests will show up if you open your map. Just do the pengyon side quest and you'll get the potentite needed to upgrade +10 from the side quest's boss.
The more actions you do before casting a spell in a single chain, the faster your spell casting will be. There are titles that can help with spell casting speed, but the main goal is to just keep a rhythm going (keep dashing, attacking, and using Soul Breaks without stopping). Unless you are referring to how Magilou is skipping through multiple spells, then that requires Shop Level 6 if I recall.
*Did you get your Shop Level to 6*? If not, do that. Getting the Shop Level to 6 unlocks the *Wizard's Ventite*. Once you have that, *hold on to the spell you are casting. Once it is fully charged, continue to hold on to the spell and press the Mystic Arte button* (default is L2) to change to the next spell. *You can only do this for certain spells* and you need to have the necessary spells unlocked. This varies from character to character.
Spells will be casted faster and faster as long as you keeping attacking and stepping (sidesteps, back steps, and dashing). As long as you don't get hit or stop, you'll be fine. If you are talking about changing the spells into other spells during the chant at a quick pace, then that works the same way. Only difference is that you need a special item to get the spell changing ability. After that, hold onto your spell (so that it doesn't activate) and press a separate button. I haven't play this game in a while, so my memory is foggy. Next time I put the game in, I'll give you a better description and whatnot.
It absorbs spells. More specific, it absorbs spells that are being chanted but not yet released. After absorbing enough spells, Magilou will release a counter spell. Magilou can also use Spell Absorber to make her next attack unblockable. This is good for stunning and inflicting status effects. Magilou is also briefly invincible during the animation of Spell Absorber.
This will contain some more gameplay spoilers, but here is how some of the Mystic Artes work in this game. *1st Mystic Arte:* Land an attack and have 3 BG. *2nd Mystic Arte:* Use eight actions and land an attack with 4 BG. *3rd Mystic Arte:* Use the final break soul ability and have 5 BG. That applies to all characters. The eight actions that you have to do can be a mixture of attacks, dodges, and break souls. So long as you don't stop to take a break, you are fine. You can miss your attacks, dodge nothing, and just your break soul with no effect. The only hit you need to land is the one that you want to use to begin the Mystic Arte. As for the final break soul ability, those are locked until the very end of the game and they are optional. Each character has their own way of activating their final break soul ability, some easier than others. Magilou's final break soul requires her to use Spell Absorber to absorb spells until she unleashes Tetra Detonator, her strongest spell. During Tetra Detonator, hold the Mystic Arte button and Magilou will active her 3rd Mystic Arte as long as she has 5 BG. There's more to Mystic Artes but the game pretty much gives you all the details. There's also cb220's game mechanic guide, but I can't guarantee that it will be spoiler free (gameplay-wise).
Unfortunately, yeah. It's the "usual" method to get a solo started. Games like Hearts R and Vesperia PS3 made it simple, but now you either kill your party or mod the game to have one character.
In Vesperia, there is a skill you can unlock called Stand Alone. It locks out any character that doesn't have it equipped. Instead of 4 characters, you can have 1~3 characters. In Hearts R, it isn't a skill. It's an option in the menu and it is available right away. The option to go solo is gone in every non-PSVita game after Vesperia PS3 (save for Graces). There wasn't a community worth the effort, I suppose.
I can appreciate that thought. Having more (optional) ways to enjoy a game seems like a good idea, regardless of the skill gap. It doesn't matter how good or bad we are at the game, what matters is the amount of fun we can have with the game. I've went through the 5 stages of grief after Zestiria released and I've finally accepted that Vesperia existed for quite some time now. Where they go from here doesn't matter to me anymore, but I honestly hope they add that solo option for fans like you.
No sensei don't abandon me !!!! T_T You spell casting is amazing ( especially because you're spell advancing while doing combos) does using the spell absorber in-between spells shortens the spell casting time ?
pro2firez it's complicated I say it's give or take cause if successful with the absorber you get the skill miss it or in this using for the spells decreases time for her and other casters too. I don't know my memory it's hazy
Honestly its just the hat i think makes the default outfit a little excessive. Her jacketless+hatless version of the outfit is way better (also you see dem hips sway better lol). But the default goofiness fits her so I'm cool with it too lol
Magilou is definitely a witch because she has me under her spell...all i can think about is getting to know her better.
Let me try to decipher this ancient text of avarost : Magilou is definitely hot because she has me under her crush...all i can think about is how to fuck her silly
The music is not listed in the description box, so I'll just list the music here:
It's _Waluigi's Island_ from Mario Party 3 and _a bunch of Castlevania music_.
I lied. Here's the actual list:
• Magilou's Theme (Tales of Berseria)
• Wings of Fate (Caladrius)
• Cocoa's Theme (Phantom Breaker)
• Ebony Wings (Castlevania: Harmony of Despair)
• Argentum Aeternitas (Xe)
• Burning Halloween Town (Deathsmiles)
• Vs. Remilia (Koumajou Densetsu II: Stranger's Requiem)
Miraclechao i love Magilou :D
I feel bad for that pile of unconscious Normins :(
I honestly don't know what's happening whenever I see Magi
I played her and I still didn't know what was happening
Everything just seems to die while the screen becomes increasingly colorful
That seems to be the direction the developers was going for with Magilou. Someone on the team must have really loved Patty's random-based spells.
I love how you always make the weird characters look like the best :). Glad to see some Berseria footage from you. I want more.
It's all part of the plan to give the weird ones some much needed love. ( ^w^)
I had some other Berseria stuff I wanted to show, but I've been extremely busy as of late. I plan to upload more Berseria videos in the near future however.
This was really fun to watch! Nice video!
Thank you.
( ºnº)/
I've still have plenty of work to do.
Seems less like a serious fight and more like "Playtime with Magilou."
She looks so fun though! Even if a little slow sometimes.
You've got to love how the enemies really *really* try to cast spells on her.
Magilou: "Hah, no. SPELL ABSORBER!"
Gotta love how Magilou always does her crazy stuff in Velvet's face and Velvet from her back side view on the cam just stands there and watches.
Nagareboshi!!!
Just awesome.
YOU CAN WALK IN BATTLE?! How'd i never notice
This was very amazing to watch. :)
I'm glad you enjoyed it. ( ^w^)
i love all of your videos ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Thank you very much. ( ^u^)
i’m making Tales of vesperia videos just like you 😊 th-cam.com/video/rehrqiBLLs8/w-d-xo.html
I see ( ^w^)
You don't need me to tell you this, but make sure your top priority is having fun. Best of luck with your challenges!

What costume are you using at 13:11?
The school uniform (3rd variation) with the maid hairstyle.
DLC only?
Unfortunately, yes.

What item for almost an instant magic cast?? Do you have to be a certain level?
The more actions you do before casting a spell in a single chain, the faster your spell casting will be. There are titles that can help with spell casting speed, but the main goal is to just keep a rhythm going (keep dashing, attacking, and using Soul Breaks without stopping).
Unless you are referring to how Magilou is skipping through multiple spells, then that requires Shop Level 6 if I recall.
Thank you.
...i can't skip spells, only hold it.
Thank you.
how can you make the spell casting time much faster ?
Spells will be casted faster and faster as long as you keeping attacking and stepping (sidesteps, back steps, and dashing). As long as you don't get hit or stop, you'll be fine.
If you are talking about changing the spells into other spells during the chant at a quick pace, then that works the same way. Only difference is that you need a special item to get the spell changing ability. After that, hold onto your spell (so that it doesn't activate) and press a separate button. I haven't play this game in a while, so my memory is foggy.
Next time I put the game in, I'll give you a better description and whatnot.
sweet , thanks so much .. love how you play magiru ! its so cute :D love it
how do you unlock zone 10?
How do u get that many souls on her?
Enhancing your equipment will give you benefits like more souls and BG.
Ah, okay, thank you very much
omg I love Magilou XD
what does spell asobaaa do?...
Oh ok...... I thought its like an extension... to a bigger or powerful arte....
It's not an extension but it is necessary in order to use Magilou's stronger spells (including her final Mystic Arte).
***** oh so mystic artes doest use BG anymore?... you just use enough spell absorbaaaa then wooofff mystic arte released?...
Wait to do solo you just have the other characters die?
Unfortunately, yeah. It's the "usual" method to get a solo started. Games like Hearts R and Vesperia PS3 made it simple, but now you either kill your party or mod the game to have one character.
@@miraclechao How did Hearts R and Vesperia make it easy?
In Vesperia, there is a skill you can unlock called Stand Alone. It locks out any character that doesn't have it equipped. Instead of 4 characters, you can have 1~3 characters.
In Hearts R, it isn't a skill. It's an option in the menu and it is available right away.
The option to go solo is gone in every non-PSVita game after Vesperia PS3 (save for Graces). There wasn't a community worth the effort, I suppose.
@@miraclechao I would like a solo mode in the next main Tales of game, even though I'm not very good at video games when it comes to fighting.
Where they go from here doesn't matter to me anymore, but I honestly hope they add that solo option for fans like you.
in some parts it really looks like you fooling around xD
Impressive. I dont see you "cheat" on Spell Absorber. That shit is enemy caster pure nightmare.
You gotta teach me how to play like that sensei ! My magilou isn't that good. I need to have the "Ultimate Power" for myself ! XD
I wouldn't mind trying to help out, but I still have a lot to learn when it comes to Magilou so I wouldn't make for a great teacher.
No sensei don't abandon me !!!! T_T
You spell casting is amazing ( especially because you're spell advancing while doing combos) does using the spell absorber in-between spells shortens the spell casting time ?
pro2firez sort of in a way.
how exactly ?
pro2firez it's complicated I say it's give or take cause if successful with the absorber you get the skill miss it or in this using for the spells decreases time for her and other casters too. I don't know my memory it's hazy
i will give you a sub btw ....
they made magilou's default costume dumb to sell costume pack DLC.
YEAH I SAID IT
2016 was not exactly a good year to be a witch. After all, there's was the fashionista from Star Ocean 5 known as Fiore.
Honestly its just the hat i think makes the default outfit a little excessive. Her jacketless+hatless version of the outfit is way better (also you see dem hips sway better lol). But the default goofiness fits her so I'm cool with it too lol
