The worst. Store managers and some unloading areas are the only things making me want to quit sometimes. If they would fix them and make it all flat so we don't have to struggle pushing heavy rts up inclines the job would be so much better
@@banksboy6806because it being hot outside during the spring/summer, it can defrost the product quick plus you doing all that touch freight in the heat can make you very sweaty and exhausted so keeping the refeer will keep you and the product cool
We don’t deliver overnight but we have early morning deliveries that are mandated sometimes 4 am to 7am , but there are some overnights driving. When it comes to driving experience , Don’t really know, as for me came straight from driving school to dollar general. So it’s better if you can give them a call if you want to know more.
There is mandatory deliveries which is a delivery stop from 4-7 AM before the stores, mostly front deliveries (no back door)where there’s no cars upfront. I’m not sure how much you can make, I heard around $90,000 but I can assure you, if you wanna make that 90,000 k+ You will have NO time and gotta grind those deliveries. Those rolltainers are heavy af and some of them won’t move, and the stores parking is ugly af

You don’t turn off the reefer until the end of the day when there is no good product on the truck, you have ice cream and milk on that truck, that ice cream will melt quickly in the south

During winter time yes just turn off and turn back on when you done with that store ,on summer , spring and fall we leave it on the all times.

Is the truck automatic how much do they pay
they are asutomatic and 200 a day during your training when your on your own around 2k a week
Dollar general is a easy job if you want to work.

We deliver 3 to 4 loads a week, it all depends on how busy you would like to be.

@greyyb8860 trust me we've told em this. Dg says turn off while freezer door is open cause it actually ruins coils but I with u its dumb lol
