Can you answer this question for me? You said that a person don’t have to add a waistband okay? What if I just wanted to add elastic and not have sew on a waist band.( I am new at this and never sold on a waste man before.) since I am not putting on a WAIST BAND. so my waistline mark if I flipped that to add the elastic to it and sew it. wouldn’t that make my crouch depth shorter?
When using waist band please dont input the waist circumference. The same measurement you have on the hip should be the same on the waist. After adding the elastic it will bring the waist line to your waist measurement

You decide how loose you want the hips side to be and add ease to it. You can add extra 1, 2 or more inches to your measurement. Same for the knee. For the ankle, the same measurement you have on the knee,you can decide to put the same measurement on the ankle, that's if you are making a corporate (basic) trouser. But for palazzo, the class is coming up soon

What you said about making sure we cut the length of the trouser according to the fabric length not the yardage area,what about for Ankara that comes in 45inch unlike crepes and other fabrics that are 60inch or above …. So in this case what can be done??

It folds when you didn't use an accurate hip measurement to get the crotch depth

Why didn't u use d thigh measurements?
What about minusing 2 incches from d waist for band
You can use two especially when working with a big size
I just cut the front without adding allowance
I cut it direct on my fabric and I don't really know how to amend it

No matter how stretchy it is, make sure the length of the trouser is following the length of your fabric. Don't turn your fabric

You can only minus your waist band when you are using elastic for the waist. When you don't have to include dart on your drafting

This way is better because it gives a fitted waist band that carries the body shape

Can you use this method for plus size
That's what I use for all sizes. Just increase the back upper waist extension from 2 to 2.5 or 3 depending on the size of your client
