Thanks for this reaction!! My reaction to it was: Oh my gosh!! EXO is back. I love everything about this music video and song. The lyrics is just awesome. Their visuals, singing, rapping and dancing. I love their outfits. And this music video is trending. And Lay Zhang Yixing is in the music video too. EXO. OT9. EXO in this biker concept is so amazing and cool. Chen and Kai with their long mullet hair. Don’t Mess Up My Tempo. That is just so catchy to say and sing.
Lay has some lines in the Chinese version. Situations for him still aren't very good right now and SM is risking everything just by giving him those 5 seconds of screen time. He is a government-appointed youth ambassador in China so he represents the government where ever he goes. SM isn't mistreating him or anything they know the current political situation he is in and they are trying to help him not have to suffer punishment. I think we all know that he wants to share the stage with his brothers so much and he would if he could. But with things still being bad between China and S.Kor, he can't. I know that there are rumors that China has been starting to lift the Hallyu ban, but until it is confirmed and we know that Lay is safe and he won't suffer punishment, we just have to be thankful that we at least got to see him and hear him at least a little bit in the Chinese version. We all just want him to be safe and ok and we will always support him no matter what. I just thought that I should let people know so that there isn't people who bash Lay for not being able to promote with EXO.
Kim Mlk basically he is a representative for the government wherever he goes because he is the youth ambassador in China. Since relations between China and s. Korea aren’t very good rn, it is hard for him to promote with them because of this. In short, he has to stay “loyal” to the Chinese government I guess and SM is helping him and making sure he doesn’t get punished by being in Korea. That’s why he has so few lines and so little screen time. Hope this explained it better
