I think it's rabbits. It's such a shame people always jump to the pregnancy conclusion and I know they mean well but it can be very triggering especially if the person is having difficulty conceiving etc.
I recommend it to my 15 yr old daughter, whose soul resinstes with this calm, peaceful, and creative lifestyle so much. She is an artist, soft and gentle soul living in a " loud world." She loves this channel, and I see the way she views the world through this channel.
We removed television from our home ten years ago. Also fewer magazines means fewer advertisements. Without so much commercialism it’s much easier to resist spending. Materialism is an unrecognized force, but it is rather a demanding thing. Being raised with it as normal has meant resisting it requires a great deal of self control as we resist familiar traditions. Your mindfulness at such a young age is nice to witness. Enjoyed.

I quit watching TV in 1997. I have not missed it. But my husband watches TH-cam a lot and because of that we are toward the end of our 4- month road/camping trip. We left in January. I love second hand shops so to keep my habit under control, I have a rule where I can only go to the shop if I have a box full of items to donate. Regarding clothes, If I pick up a new shirt, I donate one, sometimes 2. It keeps everything in perspective.

Even though you say you are not a minimalist, I think that, from watching your videos, each of your items serve you a purpose and you are not owning an abundance of items that just sit with no purpose or fulfill no joy for you. In that moment ( I have a scheduled hearing aid appt in early May after finding out that my hearing is deficient). At any rate, my hearing deficiency brings me occasional giggles and in this case, I initially thought that you said that you had been to a LAUGHTER farm. I laughed quite a bit after quickly realizing that you were saying lavender! I hope possibly that this may provide you with a light and airy giggle as well ☺️. Over the years (the older I get) I have become a materialistic minimalist and love the simplicity in my life now. I still get the urge to buy unnecessary items- so it’s a work in progress. I can’t wait to see your new family addition. A bunny is my guess🐰

Hi Paola! Love watching your videos. Just a heads up…the beautiful thistle plate and rose teacup are stangl ware. Lovely for displaying but they contain lead and are not recommended to put hot drinks in. I know you are mindful of what you put in your body so I would recommend not using them for food and drinks. I love second hand shops so to keep my habit under control, I have a rule where I can only go to the shop if I have a box full of items to donate. Regarding clothes, If I pick up a new shirt, I donate one, sometimes 2. It keeps everything in perspective.
That’s actually very good idea 👍 especially for anyone that may lend more towards hoarding even if on a thrift budget .

As a simple living minimalist, I relate so much to this. Yes. Even though you say you are not a minimalist, I think that, from watching your videos, each of your items serve you a purpose and you are not owning an abundance of items that just sit with no purpose or fulfill no joy for you. Also, with you journalizing about your spending is very smart. You are mindful of what you have. To me, this is definitely a form of minimalism.

I love the look and smell of beeswax candles. Local honey is good for allergies. Like many other people have commented, I also think you will be announcing that you are expecting your first child.
Pure beeswax candles are my absolute favourite. Such a warm, natural smell. They are also dripless and burn for much longer because of the density.

Paola, I loved your peaceful video. The pleasure I get & how much my anxiety level decreases is soothing to me. I’m still having to recover from my Embolism which will take a long time. I also saw my oncologist yesterday & have had to reschedule my complete abdominal hysterectomy (cancer) to June. I’m trying to stay grounded in how things are progressing, of which a lot is out of my control. I truly appreciate you & thank you for your calmness. Sending my 🙏&❤️&🤗 always.
