@@gigachad9076 At the start Sunday's matches all teams start at 0 points, teams get points by getting high placement and getting kills. A team achieves match point when they receive 50 points. After getting 50 points and achieve match point, they must now win a game to win the tournament. Even if a team wins before reaching match point, it doesn't matter since they're not at match point until they have at least 50 points. And likewise, it doesn't matter if you get 60, 70, 80 or even 100 points, all that matters is you win.
This ALGS was so damn stacked it’s insane. SCARZ and TSM almost made a scary comeback, Hopefully next year everyone will actually be able to play and people won’t crash or have game breaking bugs.

Amazing ALGS super excited for next year 😁
One thing I truly enjoyed was the crowd interaction. Like when someone would be ratting and barely hanging on or a nasty beam or someone making a Great play you could hear the crowd reacting just like we all did watching it.
It was a great competition to the audience but not to the pros. Multiple APAC-N teams got COVID when they arrived and lost their chance to play in the biggest tourney of the year. Some even missed their chance to play in Grand Final. It was suck that EA did not learn anything from Sweden's tourney. Anyway great work from Lej as always and I believe we all want Apex Pro Scene to bebetter

I was here live this was the craziest apex tournament ever seeing furia finding a new level of dominance and dark zero repeating and nafen went crazy this tournament not to mention all the rat plays
staying late watching the finals while doing my final exam is totally worth it, furia went crazy on the finals but DZ taking it home, rooting for scarz but unfortunately no top 10 for them, still they give their best performance on LAN, cant wait for the next LAN event with much more better health and safety protocols
I really loved this Esport event, It actually felt like action all the time, The command center makes it an amazing experience. It's taking the viewer and putting them right into the game which is what gamers want to watch. I love being able to join comms with all the teams and hear whats going on.
First time watching ALGS and it was Intense. Mad respect for all the teams especially Furia, they have the most awesome performance. Still rooting for my teams TSM and ScarZ, they will make it nextime!
Funny how tsm didn’t go off until they finally switched their comp and gave verhulst valk, every other game was a bust but then when Evan got valk they dropped 19
i think hal would do better on wraith or ash for worlds edge and storm point respectively, verhulst is an amazing valk player and imo (ive also seen a lot of people say the same) hal called for valk ults way too much, and got beamed for it

As a season 0 player who didnt play again for 10 seasons im glad the pro circuit had evolved to this. The very first tourny before seasons existed (and im sure many tournaments in between) were: "ok so your gonna all play pubs as a team individually, aaaaand most kills win." This style is so much better.
I’m really happy the team Genburten was on, won. He deserved it considering everyone was accusing him of cheating all the time. But man Furia really made that ALGS extremely entertaining with that aggression. What an amazing performance by everyone.

Honestly Furia threw that so hard, we’re playing so well and could have easily won but when on match point they just kept pushing teams instead of playing for late game.
That’s how they were winning before, hard to change strategies mid tournament. Also sometimes you have to push teams for better loot or a better spot. So their style sets them up to win
@@DaGoldenCrown yeah the problem with that while being on match point, is that everybody saw the horizon q or ult and knew who they were dealing with, forced the whole lobby to focus them down for a while. There's proof of this when you watch what happens to 100T after they hit match point, they got bombarded from everywhere as soon as the Newcastle wall popped. They could've definitely played aggro and made it work, but everybody knew who to chase.

Man I remember hating on watching BRs competitively coming from a CS background. While the early-mid game is still a bit problematic, nothing beats the intensity and hype that happens round 3 and onward

Despite DarkZero winning the championship, I gotta say HisWattson and Furia definitely were the best team during the tournament. A newcomer in ALGS with the rank 1 apex pred at the same time the first team to have match point and has the highest overall points.
This entire tourney was absolutely insane, would’ve been 10x better had EA gotten their head out of their ass and found a better solution for letting sick/visa players play remotely D:

I started out as not like hiswattson and furia as a whole but man did they turn everything upside down. The Ranked grind ultimately paid off. TSM, NRG, C9 all these teams underperformed greatly, but there is still hope. GMT was a huge surprise. 100T went crazy. This LAN event will not be topped for at least a year.

Despite DarkZero winning the championship, I gotta say HisWattson and Furia definitely were the best team during the tournament. A newcomer in ALGS with the rank 1 apex pred at the same time the first team to have match point and has the highest overall points.
They should have tried to win after getting match point instead of fragging like its a pub. They threw... simple as that.

I started out as not like hiswattson and furia as a whole but man did they turn everything upside down. The Ranked grind ultimately paid off. TSM, NRG, C9 all these teams underperformed greatly, but there is still hope. GMT was a huge surprise. 100T went crazy. This LAN event will not be topped for at least a year.
