Vitamin E oil in gelcaps is good for under eye puffiness. Pierce the gel and squeeze out the oil. Put it under and around the eyes at night and on the skin. This is pretty good, not perfect but it helps!
I’ve been contouring that way ever since contouring started. Never cared for the newer trend of the lifted cheek contour. I also do my blush like that, but with no guide. One trend that I’m loving is the feathered and laminated brows. When I do them, my eyes look more awake, lifted, and younger. I’m almost 46, so I’ll be keeping this eyebrow look. I can’t see myself changing it for anything in the future. I’m going to try that concealer hack though!!
Actually the *Hinderer Lines* just tell where the zygomatic really is (extreamly useful for drawing faces). Where to place your contour is our choice: if you like the actual place, go for it, If you don' t, that' s the whole point of make up, IGNORE IT, and fake a hollow acording to the face shape you wanna have. It' s like: "your waist is here". Ok, I' ll choose if high, exactly waist or low raised trousers.
Pink setting powder instead of blush for oily/mixed skin girlies. This trick works by colour correcting concealers bc they always run yellow. Which looks horrendous if you have a cool/neutral undertone
Okay - I'm older, 67, was a Playboy Bunny and most of these makeup "things" are a crock. When putting on foundation, I use my hands and cover everything. Let it set a bit and cotton ball the excess using a 10X mirror. Brushes get filthy. Too many women get a rash because their brushes are literally dirtier than the commode - they were tested. Every one should have a small 3X and 10X mirror for detail. Over 10X, you're asking for trouble. Layers and layers of makeup are dangerous! Over the years the skin color will change under the eyes and cheeks to the point you have to wear it. Cases in point - Tyra and Iman. Look at their pics without makeup. Youthful skin needs moisturizers and only a thin layer of foundation to balance out skin tone. Put blush where the sun hits you. Buy a blush that's the color of your tan if you want bronzing. Powder the lashes before using mascara. A light pink shadow does wonders for purple or darker skin around the eyes and tear ducts. Don't wear nightime looks in the daytime. Keep your skin youthful don't weigh it down with tons of makeup. Playboy is very strict on the look. We never did any of these "things" and were beautiful without them! You are beautiful! Enhance and embrace what you are. Don't cover it all up with layers of highlighter, concealer, bronzer, blush, foundation... Use noncomedogenic products so your pores can breathe and you don't sweat!
Exactly like why are young women using such “hecks” it’s just layering and destroying skin … under my eyes, i love to use under eye brightener instead of sh_tty concealers that are making eye area even worse
I just found you,I think you and your twin are Gorgeous?!!! I'm a 62 year old grandma and I'm so grateful for your videos,I'm not very knowledgeable doing face makeup, but thanks to you I will hopefully learn so I can feel pretty again?!

Tried the dot of blush with under eye concealer and yeah, it really looks great and brightens up the under eye area. Have not been able to make those V-shaped blush hack look good though on me 🙂
With the blush, you can also smile really wide so your cheeks poof. Then just apply the area that poofs. Apply a bit extra and follow contour lines. I’m not sure if the cheek thing works for everyone since we all have different faces, but it looks super natural and pretty, especially if you have glasses.

This is so funny to me because if you look back add makeup trends from like the 20s or the 60s or whatever decade they always had their trends or sometimes were even considered makeup rules that people followed because they thought it so it looked good at the time and it's going to be funny when people look back decades from now at what we do for makeup now
Haven't seen the actual hack, just the pics, but... I do know that pushing the tip of your nose up a bit (until you see a crease/line across it) shows you where to draw/put a line of darker contour shade (to make it look more like a button-nose). Discovered it on accident years ago. Hopefully, I've saved y'all some suspense... since Part 2 apparently doesn't exist (Oh, I guess it does, but that part isn't included? Idk)?

That palm trick should also be used for hand lotion, except the opposite. I was taught this a decade ago when I worked for a certain bath and body company. They told us to always sample products on the back of peoples hands because it absorbs better. So what I like to do is add it to the back of my hands then use the back of my hands to rub it in, then when it’s mostly absorbed, I apply like normal with my palms to get it all over the rest of my hands.
I really wanted to see the nose one
I'm pissed she didn't do it.

To me it looked like trying to get a snub/cute nose. I can't think of any other reason why she'd be doing it horizontally like that.

Us makeup artists don’t use the palm for a good reason - the palm is loaded with natural oils. The back of the hand is not.
I feel like it’s loaded with more bacteria as well seeing how it is in direct contact with most things that we touch/hold/pick up!
