Interesting video, shout out to the greenkeepers/grounds staff from a fellow greenkeeper you have the wee course looking spot on, cheers Kevin for struggling on with the illness and making this👍☺
Thanks Hotrod! Yes, it was very well manicured 😉 I was impressed with the greens….like I mentioned on the first one, it looked like they had recently been aerated
Yes played it many times a very cute 18 hole par 3 course not hard to walk Grass is called horse grass typical on many tropical courses Not bad price i walk at about 35 usd
I love some golf now! I was stationed at Clark AB back from 86 to 91. I had a good friend I worked with who taught me how to play. He was a semi pro golfer before he joined the Air Force. We had a vase tournament once, and he won it with only 2 clubs. The 5 iron and 3 wood. Shot a 70 on a 72 par course. It was hilarious. I played intramural golf and, at best, had an 8 handicap. My green fees were a hundred a year, and you played year round. It was either wet or dry. Take cate!
Kev, which is more expensive: a round of golf or teaching Jenn to drive? HA! Looks like a fairly challenging Pitch & Putt, which is perfect for my age and swing. "Drive for show, Putt for dough"! If people think it's pricey, remember this is a resort WITH golf course and will have some exclusivity for the luxury. I mean, a par 3 WITH a caddie? Do they rent clubs? I doubt shipping my clubs would be worth the cost. Is there a course pro? And what is the course record? Great job!
Looks nice but that seems really expensive for a pitch and putt and I'm not really sure what the required caddy would do? I'd like to see a video at Ang Tay if you can make it happen (sounds like they are anti advertising though).
Yeah, I don’t understand the need for the caddy. Ang Tay was the same. They wanted me to pay $40 to ride around. From what I saw, it wasn’t as nice as this one
14:47 💥🤣 "Food poisoning" code for sea sickness from J's driving! And I ain't talkin about golf! 😄 Thanks for the show 'n tell and I ain't just talkin about J walking the stairs 😉 The place looked to be in good shape. Resort courses tend to be more expensive as it's an adjunct to .. well .. living the resort life. I was quite surprised when you said play a fade around the tree. Not many peeps know the lingo. Over-all, like you said, if you don't mind playing a par 3 course the membership pays for itself but waaay too much for nonmembership no matter the shape of the course. Caddy's are part of recreational golf in your neck of the world and many others 👍🏽 I thought ya'll were riding a vintage John Deer or maintenance cart! 😅😆 I had to laugh when I saw J at the wheel. I was like .. uh oh .. this shite just got realz! 😂 I'm telling ya, put J in some new to her situations (safe of course) and just let her go and you'll hit 10K subs in just a few months! Guaranteed! Maybe something to consider for her channel 😉Thanks for doing the request 🏝⛳🌞 #filipinaadventureswithJennalyn
Sorry for the late response, I was in a lot of pain that day. I used to play, and I come from a family of golfers. Both parents have hit aces, and my dad got his 2nd at 80….but he’s a freak of nature. He hit 84/100 free throws when I was in the US
@@TooMuchTimeonmyHands65 thanks again for doing the request. Sounds like your pops had crazy good hand-eye coordination. I drop my keys unlocking my damn door 🤣
$62 for a par 3 course? No thanks. Villamor course in Metro Manila is the best public course in Manila and home of the Philippines Masters. It's only $65 with caddy, and it's a full course. Not a par 3.
Played there 10 years ago before this was remodelled it was a rip off then and still is,just wanted to walk the course with my own clubs but no had to have a caddy ( absolutely useless just along for the ride) and a cart that broke down and was as noisy as a truck. They just don’t seem to have the intelligence to offer incentives to play like for example after 4pm for half price, there’s another course near the airport which is much the same.
I agree with you 100%, especially the caddy. Unfortunately, the course by the airport has completely gone to $h*t. The only good course…18 holes is about an hour from Dumaguete….you talk about incentives….they charged me for a FULL sized cart and 9 holes of golf to basically shoot an infomercial for them….idiots live for today, and don’t understand about tomorrow
@@TooMuchTimeonmyHands65 I wrote to them three times to express my disgust and dismay, not a word back did I get,on so many occasions in businesses in the Philippines I have seen clearly how things could improve but they are just deaf and go on making the same mistakes.I go to Jomtien in Thailand now to play golf they have so many courses and smart management plus the caddies are so good at their craft, read greens better than me,I'll bet the caddy at Bravo couldn't.
@@TooMuchTimeonmyHands65 the one near the airport was unique, their golf range balls whilst being about twenty years old were in a wooden tray, they would either put the price up or reduce the number in the tray.
Hey bud, i hope your feeling better..wanted to see you guys smack the shit out of that thing! 😂😅...Philipino business mentality drives me nuts!! Did they have left handed rentals?
Pretty cool looking place.
It was well manicured, I will give it that😉
Good ol' cow pasture pool
Ha, that’s one way to put it😉
Cool
Thanks for watching B! We appreciate it😉
Hope you are feeling better Kevin.
Yes I am Eric, thanks! We’ll see you and Lulu on the 18th😉
Keep the day videos coming ❤❤
Thanks!

dam i need to go golfing I miss it
That’s a lot of money!
Hey, finally got on the golf course. Looking good. Jenalyn love those driving skills. Keep it up. 😂😂
It was NOT easy, but yes…FINALLY!!

Good 1,,,
Thanks Tom, we appreciate you watching!

Loved Jen driving the cart...
It scared the hell out of me
yes i was born in Dumaguete country club...1968..Teves generation
I robe my bicycle up past that Golf Coarse very nice!
Cool!

They do rent clubs for $13. Don’t know about the course record or pro though
Was there beer and Jim Beam? That's the only way I'd play there😂
You’re gonna have to bring your own Jim Beam😉
I agree, It looks nice but wish they could have at least a few par 4 holes at 320-375.
Definitely
The preferred nomenclature is forward and back tees.
Hahahaha, ok…thanks
yes! Teach Jen to golf! She has the perfect frame to be great ! Call her Tiger
Yeah, she’s long a flexible 😉
Nice course Kevin. I knew you looked like a golf ⛳️ ‘er. Looks fun. Calm down Jenna you’re doing fine. 😝
I used to play. It’s been a LOOONG time though

No greater waste of a man's time and money has even been created than that of golf.
I gave it up a LOOONG time ago 😉

That's a lot of Money for a Par 3 Course.......Caddy with a Cart???? Money grab!
I agree 100%

Once you factor in the airfare from Dumaguete to Manila, $62 is a great deal
@@TooMuchTimeonmyHands65 If you live there and you don't have any other option. I'm saying it's priced too high for a par 3.

There is another golf course on the island better than both of these.
Yes, but pretty far from Dumaguete
