My dreams from childhood were happening in the exact same setting. I was afraid of opening the basement door because I thought that the stairs might turn into a never ending slide, lol

Your videos are by far the best, very fleshed out and not relying on the "entity" jump scares that seem so common. Videos that are simple yet terrify are the best. The whirlpool at the end is ominous enough without anything else needed. I can't wait to see more, also love how we can hear the researchers, gives them an almost Stormtrooper feel to them.

I live near a recreation center that has a similar look to the poolrooms but without the crevices and small tunnels, the same small white tiles, it’s very spacious, has a hot tub, lap pool and one slide, and even has windows for people who are jogging laps to look down and see from the second floor, it would be amazing if a company opened up a maze and indoor water park based off the levels of the back rooms. If only companies would listen to their customers, which will never happen sadly.
Aside from the great Kane Pixels, this is the next best backrooms channel out there. I love the quality, the creepiness, the creativity, the dry humor, the absurdism, and the shitpost-y nature of it all. Great job, I am very impressed. Can't wait to see more!!
When it switched to the red slide I thought he would die, I didn’t know it came to a little pond back to the pool. That would be very cool! This would be if the backrooms wasn’t abandoned and they built.
I noticed which ever floaties you grabbed was which slide you went down. The other guy grabbed a blue floaties and went down the blue slide. While the cameraman grabbed a red floatie and went down the red slide.

This is so great. The backrooms are by far the weirdest thing I've found on the Internet (I'm 37 so I've seen stuff) but it's also one of the most captivating and appealing. I'm really curious to know what part of our collective psyche the backrooms taps into. There seems to be a generational and nostalgic component, something about longing for drab spaces from the 80s or 90s that reminds millenials and gen-z'ers of something from when they were kids, combined with an appetite for horror. I think COVID-19 has a big role in the success of the backrooms, as we were all exposed to the concept of busy liminal spaces made empty by lockdowns.
I would also dare to say that this dream format, or sequences in levels and closed spaces, in which you go from one world to another by climbing stairs, taking elevators or simply falling, is very influenced by years of exposure to adventure games and horror. That is why I like "Evil Within" a lot as a game, it knew how to capture very well the archetypes of that collective psyche in its scenarios

I came to Kane Pixels backrooms two weeks ago. I had never heard of this concept before then and I've watched both these videos and the more serious ones. I totally love both concepts of the serious researchers to these goofballs. Amazing concept and thank you for putting these out there.

As someone who can't swim and also thinks those stairs would be incredibly dangerous, this isn't as fun for me as for others 😂😂 I love that one of them is working as a lifeguard.
So just to clarify my dude, this is created by a person. Most people’s version of the backrooms does not have this in it. And since the wiki lore is written by children, they have included basically every level you could imagine. So yes, I guess that’s why it’s so popular among children, the backrooms can literally be anything they want it to be. From a place with really cheesy dumb creepypasta creatures like the partygoers, to a fun waterpark in the pool rooms.
