The reporters in that room have to stop coddling Belichick i.e., if Belichick continues to give non-serious answers ask questions that would vex him. Here's a few: Are you as a couch embarrassed? Do you think you still have the ability to coach? How do you compare these awful few years with your awful time in Cleveland? Do you think it's nepotism to have two of your sons on staff?
Do you think Tom Brady saw this coming, and decided to take his Super Bowl talents to Tampa?

@wreckim Tom wanted to stay, Belichick literally forced him out cause he was jealous of Brady and wanted to win superbowls without him. He literally sabotaged Brady in his final year with the Pats and ignored every recommendation that Brady gave for the players he wanted
. That last year with Brady on the Pats was painful and you could feel Brady desperation and frustration with Belichick and Kraft.

Belichick has been this way over 20 yrs but people didn't care as much when the pats were winning. How bout asking "so coach why did you think juju was a better fit than Jacoby Myers who was actually producing here with Mac Jones?" Again Monday night Myers has a nice game, pretty sure Myers has more TDS this year than juju has catches. And Myers is playing aside devante Adams while.juju can't get on the field. Belichick choses the players, the coaches, the trainers, down to the waterboys and they suck everywhere so who deserves the blame other than Belichick? Why was he so eager to push Brady out to jump start his collapse? The jets lost their starting QB in week 1 and have more wins already then patriots. Grew up hearing about the curse of the Bambino and 30 yrs from now I'll be telling my grandkids about the great years and the Brady curse haha

Judging by this comment you must think that the patriots got in trouble for filming all those years ago. The NFL loves the patriots so much they handed down what was at the time the largest penalty to a team, then a few years later avoided actual science and suspended Brady for 4 games because it was “more probable than not.” But sure, the NFL adores the patriots.

I agree that with no offensive line, and WRs that can take quite awhile to get open, you need a QB who can at least effectively run for his life, and make plays all on his own. Cunningham didn't play much, but in preseason he showed great quickness and agility, and he even made a few nice passes, so he's not just a runner. What would they really have to lose by trying him?

The NFL hasn't handed NE or Bill anything, I'd argue the opposite in fact. Not to mention, if the players feel that no matter what you play like, the refs will most likely screw you during the most crucial plays so you don't interfere with the KC/Swifty narrative they hope to have for the Super Bowl. The officiating has appeared real shady the past few years, not just the Pats, all over the league. They've got one foot in a legitimate sport, and one foot in a show biz/pro wrestling/narrative pushing/ soap opera/ game show, in which case, I'd agree the "game" has passed Bill by. He's not an ass kisser, and in modern pro football, that's gonna cost ya.
