RBI has utterly failed in removing the doubts in the minds of people that Rs 10 coin is not banned. It should have collected all coins for a discount of Re 1 per coin and by giving some time and abolished it
I have this type of coins having fifteen lines on one side prior to 2011. I have collected these coins since 2009 and now your media is telling that these are fake which is hard to digest for me. It will be better to wait for RBI announcements in coming future.
rupee symbol introduced in 15 July 2010. 10rs coin introduced in 2006. those coins minted before 2011 having 15 rays. 10 was embossed in center. there is no guideline or press release by RBI regarding fake coins. those who refused to receive the coin will face legal action as per section 489A to 489E of IPC

Sorry Zee news, your one point is misleading. Rupees signed launched in july 2011 so please tell me how is it possible to provide rupees sign in earlier 10 rs. coin.

मेरे पास भी 1000 रुपये है वो भी 10 के डॉलर जब आज main ऍक्सिस बँक भिगवण ता,इंदापूर जि-पुणे उस बँक में जमा करणे गया तो उस बँक के कॅशेइर ने वो 10 के डॉलर वापस कर दिये और बोला कि हम 10 के डॉलर लेते नही अब तुम्ही बता जब बँक हि नही ले रहा तो हम उस डॉलर का करे भी तो क्या ।

Accoding to me the coin which you are calling duplicate is may or should be original as because 10Rs coin was started long back and Ra(Hindi sign) came just few years back so people holding Old year coins are under scanner.this may not taken into account.we need clear picture from RBI
