In autorun under view to open folders/contents how do I tell ( a recorded "disk image" ) as in clone on the dvd... from a files "copy" folders "copy" when checking on the success of the disk image? To use as boot os or ios for new os install?

Yet another company that publishes a lot of resources about how to backup your files, but leaves you hanging when it comes to restoring them.
I need to restore my OS partition from a recent image. Should be easy?
Active@ have no advice or tools to allow me to boot via another medium to carry out the restoration. Their create boot disk tool doesn't allow their program to be run from a live disk. How am I supposed to restore the OS of my drive.

if you use this app correctly, you first create a bootable CD using Active@Disk. I had to use a free utility called ImgBurn (it's crappy freeware that tries to hoodwink you into installing a lot of junk, but it works) to create an ISO image that I was then able to burn into a WORKING bootable Active@Disk CD ROM. Keyword here is WORKING bootable CD - you must TRY IT. If you CAN'T BOOT from the CD you made, it's not a good ISO. You should be able to press F12 during boot for any illing Win7 PC (Win 7 Pro) and select your Active@Disk CD for boot. The PC will boot into Active @ Disk even if nothing more than the BIOS is available. I have restored a disk image to the same machine that created it. It worked perfectly. I have never tried to restore to a new hardware configuration. That's what I really want to know.. how well that works w/new PC hardware, same OS.
