There was no fall of Afghanistan. There was a fall of US installed puppet government and foreign occupation of Afghanistan. From your thick Iranian accent, it t seems you have not only bias, but also present the US imperialistic perspective.

Mr. Hasan Abbas! Western Allies never planned to do any good for Afghanistan. They did neither build any infrastructure themselves nor they allowed the Afghan government to do so. They would spend millions of dollars in buying power generators, but will not build any power dame. If they did work on any infrastructure projects, they were built in a disposable and temporary manner. They destroyed Afghanistan's institutions in the name of modernization. Through the DDR they sacked nearly all the experienced officers and personal of the Afghan security institutions and destroyed their military equipment and capabilities to make them rely only on the west. But you are too naive or ingnorant to understand.

If the taliban flout a formal request to the US for the training of the Taliban government in education health diplomacy economy and military the US will agree.

ISIS was created by the US to tell Afghan that you must accept talib cause they are better than ISIS , but there is no difference between isis and talib. Both are terrorists and their bosse is one guy Mr US and their trainer is Mr punjabi however he said talib only kill none pashtun that means he doesn't have information what taliban doing or maybe he knows but just because the prejudices that pakistani have towards Afghan he said such thing in any case Taliban , ISIS and other terrorists organisations are the products of USA and pakistan is responsible for the packaging 📦 part

This guy has no clue what he is talking about. The best person who could present a true picture of what has been happening over there is a honest Afghan who is truly loyal and sincere to his/her man motherland.
These nonsenses time is over and done with, and will not do any good

During Bush time, Prez Hamid Karzai and Taliban had engaged in talks. Taliban wanted to return to AFG and stop the war. Bush said no, we need to anihalate all Taliban. US spent lots of money but not through the presidency of Karzai. They circumvented him, creating a weak central govt with strong warlords governors. Despite Karzai's request, no money was spent on foundational and lasting projects to benefit the country like electricity, factories, infrastructure, roads, hospitals, etc. Majority of money was military spending which went back to US defense industry. As late as 2015, AFG had no air force and depended entirely on US air force. What kind of nation building was that? Of course Karzai balked at the US and rightfully so bc they just wanted a puppet govt while they killed Afghans in the countryside, mostly the South. I remember when he refused to sign the joint agmt bn US and AFG in 2014. The US started badmouthing him and couldnt wait for Ghani who did sign the agreement of course. Now this guy wants paint things more favorably to the US. AFG did not collapse in 2021 but found its independence again. How much longer were Afghans going to die while the whole world was sending their military there for training and testing their weapons and aircrafts in AFG on the Afghan ppl?

Shia bias, when he had written a book called the heir of the prophet ( peace be upon him) Ali ibn talib ( R.A) automatically means he has a bias even against Abu bakr, Umar ibn khattab and Usman ibn Affan ( R.A)... So that's where I rejected his views all together. But I wanna know how the shia "think tanks" thinks

@ Japan does not have sovereignty and has to ask the US for permission for everything . They can not even have their own military. And westernization made them leave their tradition and now they are dying out because they have no children. So yeah thank God we are NOT Japan.

Most of the assessments were wrong. The only point, I think, makes a sense is the early handover of the Afghan affairs to Afghans after the first initial years of the US involvement.

To the host: it's not Afghani govt just as you wouldn't say Irani govt. Its Afghan govt like Iranian or American govt. Also, the ppl are not Afghanis. That is the local currency. Just like the ppl of Iran are Iranians (not Iranis), the ppl of AFG are Afghans. You seem to be using Farsi words and inserting them into English.

Mr Abbas is absolutely wrong. There is no pragmatic Taliban, they are all terrorists. At the same time his recommendation regarding to talk or engage with the Taliban is terrible. Unfortunately no one understands the Afghan people innocents. The reality is that more the 95 percents of Afghanistan population do not agree to engage with the Taliban. I ask you please stop such dirty recommendation. I am sure you can not live one week with your family in Afghanistan under the Taliban control.
