Hey good day Kevin. Yup, I think I will get another for the house - I have been moving it between for some time now. Glad to hear it is working out well. Cheers!
Where I had worked, was having rodent issues, at that time the A24 could not be bought in Canada. Now that they can be purchased in Canada l have purchased one for myself and reached out to the firm that I worked for and they are looking into purchasing some. This has been one of the best reviews I’ve ever seen. Very Thorough. Thank you
On one of your earlier videos you showed that you loosened the hydraulic connector on the hose so that you could hook up an attachment. Had to use that same trick to hook up my grapple today. Thanks for teaching an old dog a new trick!
Quick, clean, effective, non poisonous!!! Great solution! I just finished eating birthday dinner with my daughter at Chuck E Cheese. They’ve got a big rodent problem there!! 😁 Keep on tractoring!!
Helll yeah just received mine in the mail today, can't wait. I showed my wife and i said it was too much next thing i know she said.... it will be here Friday lol guess the wife is tired of the mice
Good morning and thanks DIY! Hopefully you won't need one but maybe something to keep in mind for the new workshop. Cheers and looking forward to watching the build. Cheers!
Good day Joe. They have a different model , designed for that I believe. the website is automatictrap - I think you will see the other models there ( I think it is the A12 or A18 model). Cheers!
My A24 has eliminated numerous chipmunks with the right bait mixture. I used oatmeal, cooked up with peanut butter. Mix in some birdseed after that. Mount it horizontally, with a slight incline, and they walk right in!
GP - I really enjoy your channel, been a regular watcher for awhile now. Suggestion... invest in some better audio gear, get a clip on lav mic. Expensive, but since the channel really seems to be taking off, I think worth the investment.
Good evening John. Thanks _ you are right - important to have. I did recently purchase one and it works pretty well but my batteries ran out and I had no spares up there but will make sure to have them in the future. Thanks again for watching and for the feedback. Cheers!
GP Outdoors I don’t agree with all his politics, but Wranglerstar does produce some great, professional style content. Here’s the video he did on his equipment setup. th-cam.com/video/TaEug_m9ykA/w-d-xo.html
I'm thinking, GP, that the only downvotes you'll get are from PETA people....0-: Other than that, I'm thinking you're getting two thumbs UP from myself and other mouse haters !!! Actually, I don't really hate the furry little critters...I hate the damage they create within your structure. AAAAaaarrrrgggghhh !!! Awesome review sir, and thank you.
Good morning T! Yes, I don't mind the little guys either (outside) but the destruction inside is not wanted. I have some damage in the ceilings that I will need to rip down and clean out their nests and carcasses at some point ($$). The trap is actually certified as a Humane trap. I think an instant kill is a lot better than a slow painful one myself - plus clean food for their predators outside. Great trap I have to say. Thanks - I see the HAVC job is progressing - will catch up on the latest episode soon. Cheers and all the best T!
Thanks for the info. Did you experiment with the lure substance? I think they sell several and some people experiment with their own recipe to attract rats & mice.
Good evening Simon. Great question. The kit comes with a lure basket for you to put your own recipe into, but I never needed to. They took to it pretty successfully so I didn't need to try to make up my own. Pretty happy with it - even after almost a year using it now. Awesome invention! Cheers!
Good morning Lee. It comes with a small jar of "Lure" which you put into the top of the trap. Seems to work well at attracting them. It also comes with a basket which you can out your own lure into if you find theirs is not working or you prefer to use some other thing to attract them. Take care!
Good morning Michael. It has a ram that is pressurized by a C02 cartridge. There is a hair trigger inside the tunnel and when it is disturbed the ram is shot out under pressure and then resets back again. If you have time , I did an initial review (there is a link in the video to the first review) where I go through all the parts and how it works, if that's helpful. Cheers!
Good morning Roger. I believe on their website , there is a different model Goodnature trap ( I think the A12 or A18?) they make that is designed to be larger for that. If you google, the automatic trap website should be there. Hope that helps. Thanks for the q !
Hi From upstate N.Y. I think I found my secret to keeping mice, rats, chipmunks and bear out of my garage and house. simply put on music. small battery operated alarm radio has been key for me. after putting food such as peanut butter in traps in and around home and garage not one trap has been touch.
Good morning J. Thats a pretty interesting idea. Thanks for sharing. I think mine over here enjoy the music/sounds. I have had times when I have been sitting watching TV and they are going at it in the walls/ceiling or have surfaced out into the main floor in numbers running right past and around me. LOL. I have musical mice. Thanks though and happy it is working well for you. Cheers!
Morning Deep. I stopped counting a long time ago - it is still working great to this day. It is still the best trap I have ever used. I cancelled my pest control service early last year. Cheers!
Good morning Stacey. It has a pressurized ram inside which provides an instant and immediate fatal strike. I prefer that to using slow working poisons or other methods often used. Thats for watching and for the question. Cheers!
G P we have very little rodent problems mosly because our neighbor has cats we had but passed away month ago so now must watch again if have aproblem will i to the trap God Bless PaK
Hey good evening Tom. Yup, quick and done. But sounds like you have two effective methods for sure but no cats here and I've never seen an owl anywhere up at the cabin (although I would love to see one). Cheers and thanks!
Don’t the smart rats learn that it’s not a good idea to go in there when they see what happens to their friends? My rats have learned that the Victor rat traps I have on my porch mean death. They are avoiding them despite the yummy treats that they see in there. I want to get one of these devices but am afraid my rats are too smart. They are also very big. Do you know what the size limit is?
Good morning Monica. To be honest, I am still using this trap today and it still works awesome. These guys just climb over their dead buddies to get in. I know it is large enough to fit rats as well, but can't say exactly how big it will take. I with you the best !
I wonder how You Tube headquarters would like a truck load of dead mice delivered to their premises. Or, better yet, a truck load of live rats. They would feel right at home with their brothers there.
@@i.r.wayright1457 I'm not saying I agree with it. Shawn Woods has had a ton of his videos demonetized though for showing this. Just trying to help a guy out.
Good morning ATV. Thanks for the help. I appreciate it very much. I am aware of it and you are correct, this one is not going to make any money (not that I make much anyways.LOL). But I decided that it would be helpful to many folks with cabins or cottages etc and so decided to spend the time to do it. Hopefully it has been helpful to some folks and hey, we have a lot of great subscribers like yourself, and that makes it worth it to me. Thanks again and all the best! Cheers!
I got one after your first review and been very happy with it. I probably will be getting another one when I get my barn finished.

Thanks kindly Cameron. Mine is still going strong and doing it's job. Still the best trap I have ever used. Cheers!
Thanks GP I was wondering about the follow up video on this trap. I think I’ll get a couple. Thank you, cheers
On one of your earlier videos you showed that you loosened the hydraulic connector on the hose so that you could hook up an attachment. Had to use that same trick to hook up my grapple today. Thanks for teaching an old dog a new trick!
Good morning William. Glad it helped! Have a wonderful week!

LOL! I don't think it will work on him. Happy Birthday to your daughter Jon!
Wow...thats great GP.....it seems to do the job just great......well done and thanx for the good review.....have a great week my friend...... :)
You too Don! Thanks!
Thanks GP. A friend has been looking for a solution to her mice problem, so I'll be ordering one ot these today.
Cheers Sonnicman!
Good video and greater review. Thanks GP , glad to see it really works. Thanks for sharing.
Good morning ODD! Yes I am pretty happy - no more poisons around the cabin and so far so good. Hope you are doing well!
Helll yeah just received mine in the mail today, can't wait. I showed my wife and i said it was too much next thing i know she said.... it will be here Friday lol guess the wife is tired of the mice
That's great. It is still the only trap I use to this day and it still does it's job. All the best!
Hey GP. How was the blocker? Got a follow-up video for it? Thanks.
Hi GP! That’s a really cool mouse trap! I think I’ll try one next time we have a rodent problem. Thanks for the update on it! Cheers!
Good morning and thanks DIY! Hopefully you won't need one but maybe something to keep in mind for the new workshop. Cheers and looking forward to watching the build. Cheers!
I have a friend having problems with chipmunks, I'll have to show him this. Looks like it works awesome, I need one for my shop. Thankyou
Good evening Bill. Works great and much better than slow poisons. Have a great week!
Does it works with chipmunks and squirrels??? If so, you've got me sold!
Good day Joe. They have a different model , designed for that I believe. the website is automatictrap - I think you will see the other models there ( I think it is the A12 or A18 model). Cheers!
I have found dead chipmunks, mice, and even a baby bunny rabbit with my A24
My A24 has eliminated numerous chipmunks with the right bait mixture. I used oatmeal, cooked up with peanut butter. Mix in some birdseed after that. Mount it horizontally, with a slight incline, and they walk right in!
Love this trap but I have a squirrel infestation. Can you do a review for the A18 please?
Good info GP. Cheers
Thanks Roy!
Good evening GP ! Very good and informative video and after all, a great stress relief !!! LOL Cheers
Good day Dave. It sure is a bit of relief not hearing them chewing on my electrical wires and things in the walls anymore. Have a great week!
Hey there GP!!! Kills the little guys pretty quick with is good.

Hi GP. I have quite a few traps I monitor almost daily, especially in the fall and spring. What is the killing mechanism? Thanks!

Hi Jp. Can you tell where we can buy these mouse trap.

I was gonna leave a mean comment, cause this just seems ridiculous. I couldn’t tho, you seem like too nice of an old man. Keep doing you bro
So can you tell us how many mice didn't make it....i was watching a previous video and came here looking for a head count...Lol!!

So what does it do to the mouse or rat I haven't seen the actual kill it looks like it does a great job thanks

Hey Peter. Cats are a great solution for sure. Be well!
Wham-o..No mice were harmed in this experiment...not!
Have you ever gotten a rat with this trap, or just mice?
Good morning. I have never seen rats in the area so just mice.
ixfd64 I’ve caught a large rat with mine.
So, you just break their little necks? My cat works pretty well as well as the two owls that hang around. 🤔🤔🤔🤔

@@GPOutdoors there is a little problem with the cat catching them though, he likes to play with them. I take them and add them to my septic tank. 🤔🤔🤔

Showing that sort of footage gets other TH-cam videos demonetized. Look up Mouse Trap Monday’s.
