I love how complicated you make your highway interchange when a simple grade separated roundabout would do it!
But as a public transport person, yay, more trams, walkable city streets and trains!
I think it's better to plant trees around diagonal roads, since lots are shaped like squares only one-slot lots can be built there.

I love how to get off the highway ramps you would force all traffic, including trucks, into the 'fast/overtaking lane', meaning if there's a jam it would require everyone to undertake a vast line of traffic lol

i'm so glad you removed those parking spaces still. For the center of the city that is a lot of unused concrete around the buildings/malls. maybe just some outside benches for people to hangout and flowersboxes/planters to spice it up a bit.
Highly recommend to have an intercity bus depot/tourist hub near your shopping district. Great way to get people in, and to combat traffic I would add in a bus only exit for the highway.
More cycle paths! Any residential street should include it as it builds the cycling network and connects bikers to destinations accross your city. Great stuff!
EDIT: also, consider elevated bycicle "highways" to connect by bycicle destinations that may be further away. You'd be surprised how far the inhabitants of Cities Skylines are willing to bike if they have grade separated cycle paths! I'm thinking a connection between the walkable core of your city, via near the stadium and to the industrial zone could work well (connecting residential and work areas).
i think it would be so cool for you to add an airport (when you get around to it) on the island towards the top of your city and link it up with all youe transport!!

Edit: You should also add trees to the 6 lane roads to make them more pleasant to the eyes, and bike lanes too

Idk if you’re gonna make a designated sports district (like how Kansas City Chiefs and Royals are side by side, but if not I think it’d be cool to put the baseball field facing the water/ocean like how the San Francisco Giants stadium is. Maybe you could put a statue or monument in the water for it to look at or make it a touristy beach/waterfront district
That would look so cool especially with all the teams and walking paths.
@@deaddoodle572 that’s what I was thinking! And you could add restaurants and shops. The New England Patriots and the new Commanders stadium bought out the areas around the stadium and have food, stores and hotels that the teams owners own

I'm not sure, if that's normal in other areas of the world, but at least to me it seems like a recipe for crashes to have a Highway exit on the left, when you are driving on the right side of the road. At least Here in Germany (and i think in cities skylines traffic Simulation as well, if i remember correctly), the left lane is where the fastest traffic is going. Having to cross that lanes to get of a highway seems dangerous
We have left exits in America and it works fine
Cities Skylines uses the US's road laws for the most part, and yes here the left lane is the fastest on highways, being furthest from the exits. That said I've seen exits on the left of highways here before, and even the occasional merge from an arterial road directly into a highway, but still this particular take on it seems a bit dangerous. Likely the speed limits would have to ramp down considerably before it or an entire separate bypass would avoid the whole area, potentially an underground ramp.

If this city existed in real life, im immediately moving in (except for the fires and the times where you have to randomly move out because of some random building project)
I know you have a lot of hours in the game but you might want to look into the speed limits of the different road types again. Mixing an matching highway roads with regular roads just by the number of lanes doesnt seem to be a good solution. Especially when you are putting in sharp 90° turns that slow down the cars instead of curves.
The funniest thing about sports stadiums in this game is the lack of parking you need to make them work. 20,000 capacity and %75 of them took transit you'd still need a massive parking lot! I've seen some aerial shots of stadiums in real life

Your highway interchange could be much simpler.
Keep the on and off ramps on each side 'parallel' to eachother so inbound and outbound traffic is separated. All you need under the highway is two avenues or two one way roads. and a way to connect them bigger roads. Look at Paris, peripheral interchange at Masséna Brunesseau (South/South-East just before the river, on the lower bank (not to confuse with Charenton on the upper bank of the river). It's a very elegant and simple interchange, I've been using it for that concept while now, yours is just different because of the interior off ramps instead of exeterior. That concept uses the less space of all possible interchanges, it's very discreet.

Bro wht u can do is that u can change the monorail setup with a metro station which can perfectly fit the place where that blue rectangle oh my bad square is i think that might look good u should give it goo and acc to me those white rails dont look that good on the centerpiece of the city

I think you might want to build the baseball park (if you want to) right next to the Football Stadium , because you will make more money off Transit and sports. I also like baseball to :p
Nice job. I think you should turn off parking around the fountain and blue plaza area. No standing vehicles. Drop off/pick up only. Maybe some taxi stands? Also placed just outside ped only residential areas.

City sky lines has such a weird population counter my small town has 70,000 whereas in city sky lines a grand city only needs 11.000

I’m not familiar with the game but is there a way to check the noise levels in the city? I’m worried about those monorails and that big stadium being too noisy for residents
Noise is under the pollution tab.
It's kinda the worst pollution in the game, with the others being quite tame in comparison.

Why doesn’t the monorail have a stop at the stadium, it looks like it’s an end of line.
LOVE this series, can the next one be much longer, please? 16 minutes just isn't enough. How about some multi storey carparks near the shopping to get the cars of street parking, like most large shopping areas. I know it doesn't look so great but it might make a difference.

Hey in the new residential area, even though the wall to wall houses look amazing, why don't you remove the Wall to Wall buildings and replace them with normal high density residential as it would complement the new miscellaneous skyscrapers better and I think it'll hold more population than wall to wall stuff..

City skylines really needs to sort out the "population thing" only 11k people in a city of that size is really unrealistic. always bothers me. hahah
There are mods for realistic numbers of people per building and per vehicle but the generated traffic is next level 😄 It is manageable after all but you need to know what you are doing.

Pls remove monorail, its a useless if a metro is just as good, and usually monorails need more time and energy to change tracks, and also impossible to have emergency mode or easy fixing of points, also metro looks better, the ingame monorails look like [coloured in main colours] bending turds with especially the weathering they have
