The line trackers are really good as just general proximity sensors. We used them in a bunch of places on our spin up bot to detect if there was a disc there
I think the main advantage to the new pot is that w/ the right set up they should be smaller than half a rotational or ADI encoder. This allows for the sensor to be doubled up, removing the dead zone which then allows it to be used for odometry. The main reason youd use it over the other methods of odometry is the size, very very high accuracy, and access time to the sensor. That being said I havent used them much and I think it would cause too much friction.
Plz make non vex parts tier list next 🙏 rubber bands, zip ties, poly carb etc...
no way new 9motorgang tier list just dropped

bro can you do awards tier list
what about the ai vision sensor? :)
Wasn’t announced till after I had recorded the video + nobody has experience using it.
@@9MotorGangI wonder what are the differences between the ai and the original vision sensors I guess it has Machine learning or something?
@@Casonplayz ai vision sensor can actually sense objects using apriltags
Omg!
Can we get a VEX game tier list?
nah the quadratic encoders are fire wym, not better than the rotation sensor but still an easy A tier
vision sensor deserves F tier and I used multiple last year.
What about our new AI vision sensor?
Came out after the video was set to upload.
