The standoffs and the front helped and there was also some c channel bracing at the back. We had another brace but had to take it off last minute as we realized that if a ring got under it we could get high centered.
@@lettucejr9678 the hooks run at 200RPM. We didn’t have any issues with the shaft bending. The lift was quite light and it was mounted very close to where the shaft was supported.
Technically yes. However, descoring is completely useless at this point in the season since wall stakes aren't even being filled, and it doesn't consistently prevent the rings from leaving the field.

Machines such as a cnc are ideal (if you have one and talk to an adult cause they can give us toxic fumes). But personally, I just use tin snips and a drill for easy of use and for most things they are good enough.
How do you have the flex wheels attached to the standoffs
@@slimslamjellyjam I’ll have a video on the process up soon.
Cool @9MotorGang
What material did you use for the hooks on your intake? Trying to get some for myself, but Idk what to ask my director to order. Thanks!
Polycarbonate. would recommend checking out this video: th-cam.com/video/Ax3DYdRU2TI/w-d-xo.html

i like the funnel on the polycarb for the wall stakes
hopefully later on in the season we'll see wall stakes being used more
@@ray-tang I’m sure we will. I infer they will fill a similar role to rings in TiP where they end up becoming very relevant later in the season.
how did you cross-brace that drivetrain? I'm guessing the standoff in the front counts as one of your cross-braces

i love jhawk, what rpm are ur hooks? Also did you run into any issues with the top ls shaft bending under the weight of the arm?

Is this robot able to descore using the double sided hooks?

What about descoring on the mobile goals?

Hii, how you get the proper delivery angle with stake and exact speed for delivery. You did any calacuation or you does try and error method?
Trial and error.

are u legally allowed to file down gears?
@@bhavachanakyasiddula6914 yes. As per rule R16
Why do teams do the wheel tracker thingy
it is used in odometry to help track the robots position on the field for autonomous. I will have a full video over how it works coming out soon.
Do you have a cad file for this I’m part of a first year team and don’t know where to start
No. There are plenty of other useful resources on the channel for newer teams though.
