Trevor, I dig your videos because unlike a lot of people you're putting out some substantive content, not just goofing around with a video camera. The Supra is a quality project worthy of quality planning and quality production. That doesn't come quickly or easily. People will complain no matter what you do, so ignore them, focus on the content. If you need to put more time into it so that you can maintain ALL of your projects, and produce quality videos, and be a dad, AND actually sleep once in a while -- then just put more time into it. I'd rather wait and get quality videos than have you sacrifice either the quality of the videos or the quality of the SUPRA just so you can crank out videos faster. Frankly, even if the noisy masses don't know it, they'd rather wait too. They want the quality. They just think you should give it to them on their schedule not yours. Screw that. Take all the time you need to build the best Supra you can build and make the best videos from it while still maintaining your other projects and content streams. FWIW, I don't know if this is your ONLY job, but it's DEFINITELY passed the point at which it's a job. You might want to start scheduling filming and editing accordingly. Your quality of life will go way up if you give yourself an organized framework so you can keep your life and your channel compartmentalized.

I've watched his videos from the EVO and when he had an LS in the drift car. Started watching alot when he swapped the 1J in it and tried to figure out if he wanted to go with the LS(spare parts and that) or go over to JZ. With all the work he's done to it why do people complain about rushing it? It's his car and he wants it to be perfect. I respect that alot. Takes alot of patience, money and hard work to get the car to where you just look at it and you're filled with joy because you know all the work that has been done to car. And he is sharing that so we can see the quality work that has gone into the car and appreciate it. I admire the work, not every one pull this stuff off. Most of the time things like these end up on craigslist or whatever all the sites names are and they be like: "hey it only needs this and that." while the owner of the car, and people that has the experience with working on cars, knows he was in over his head. Trevor, you do what you need to do. I actually love the in depth videos about all the work that's needed in cleaning up the shell from all the imperfections to get the best paint you can. I have learned a lot from your videos that I'll actually be applying to my car when it comes body work time later this year. Good luck with everything you have to do, and no rush!
Trevor, I am surprised you've made as much progress as you have while buying a house and your family growing. The input that I give is that I think your doing the right thing right now. Your girls needs you there. Also, you don't want to get burnt out, or skip over things on the Supra that are important to you. You are restoring a awesome car and doing it right, it doesn't happen quickly- these projects usually take a couple years (as you know). Good to see your not rushing. Seriously all paint and body products always need awhile to shrink. That is the way the nicest cars are built. If your having problems with sandpaper sticking to your block you can use some spray adhesive to stick it. it works well. Nobody seems to realize how many hours you have into this thing. Keep up the good work
Been following sanding simulator since the beginning of the supra. Has got me excited to finally start doing a respray on my car :) Didn't even know what guide coat was before until I watched your videos, very excited to see how it turns out!

Damn Trevor, please don't paint that car in the shop. It's just way too Dusty with the fresh sanding. You would have to take a leaf blower to the entire shop and then the compressor to get out all that dust. Even then the amount of time you have put into this paint job you would be so pissed off with the outcome. I have been doing the exact same thing you have for the past 28 years. Roll that puppy to your buddies paint shop and do it right like you have done with everything so far. It's cool with the other cars no big deal, but not the Supra... It's your build but I would recommend the dark red maroon color. I really hope you're charging Adam for your time and equipment..... Damn good job so far man. Big props for not rushing it.
He is trying to do it the right way and it takes time. We all want to see progress on it but some of us understand it takes time and money to do a build like this. Just wait and it will be worth it. He's trying to make it nice and not just thrown together so respect that.

The car has came along way from what it started as when you first got it for sure its looking great so far cant wait to see it painted....The lambo doors can be adjusted but have to remove the fenders to adjust them, you can do that by loosening the bolts slightly that go into the car the car itself to get the gap between the door and the 1/4 panel (same way as you would to gap a door with stock hinge) and theres an adjustment screw/bolt on the hinge itself to adjust the gap when it opens so when you open the door it doesnt sag and if the gas strut that holds it up goes bad it can make opening it skechy (i have vertical doors on my car)

I found your channel and subscribed when you did the haggard burnout challenge but honestly forgot and really didn't watch much until you showed up on Adams channel for the 1J. That's when I noticed the Supra build and you've been one of my favorite channels since. Keep up the great work, hope to see it in person one day when it's done.

As I know you have more than seen your fair share of amazing builds, they are almost never slammed together in only a few short weeks/months...especially when some is putting their own blood, sweat and tears into it. I can see this project car (a labor of love if you will) shaping up nicely and sincerely wish you the best of luck on finishing it whether it takes a few weeks or even a couple years. That red on the curves of the Supra will be so beautiful and I think everybody are the biggest part of people would love to see you keep plugging away on that car it's in the class of the sixties Jaguar E-Type and you seem like you're passionate about the cars yourself and you're a perfectionist when it comes down to it what color is the interior that you're putting in it
Take your time man! You'll love and enjoy the finished product alot more! One of my show cars was planned on taking 6 months and ended up taking 3 years to finish. But there's no way the finish would have been as amazing if I had rushed.

Try the sticky backed paper rolls from EastWood. That's what I've been using on my last couple projects.

Keep up the great work man and try not to stress over the supra build too much as i know you want to do a great job on it. As I know you have more than seen your fair share of amazing builds, they are almost never slammed together in only a few short weeks/months...especially when some is putting their own blood, sweat and tears into it. I can see this project car (a labor of love if you will) shaping up nicely and sincerely wish you the best of luck on finishing it whether it takes a few weeks or even a couple years. Till then, go enjoy some time with the family/friends and I will just have to keep coming back to see what other great content you put out. cheers.
That red on the curves of the Supra will be so beautiful and I think everybody are the biggest part of people would love to see you keep plugging away on that car it's in the class of the sixties Jaguar E-Type and you seem like you're passionate about the cars yourself and you're a perfectionist when it comes down to it what color is the interior that you're putting in it

Take your time man! You'll love and enjoy the finished product alot more! One of my show cars was planned on taking 6 months and ended up taking 3 years to finish. But there's no way the finish would have been as amazing if I had rushed.
