Glad to hear Nick is good with helping out when stuff goes south. I'm up in Canada, so it's a concern given the cost of shipping and time it would take to have to ship something back for warranty and get a replacement. Could easily triple or quad the price.
I'm sure MoFo was smart enough not to waste money on having a new can when one already exists. And it's the heart of the beast that counts, not the clothes. :D LOL! But I can see why the Barrage can would cause people to pause for a moment. :)
Is it me, or would the screw drivers for these be better if they weren't so big and knurled so well so you couldn't grip them so strongly! LOL! Something smooth and the dia. of a pencil might be better preventing over tightening! :D
hows the slow speed crawl with the buzzsaw ? I have the buzzsaw with stock esc and was thinking about getting the iguana esc and just keep everything brushed. I like the wheel speed but also do a lot of slow tech crawling
@@TheShopMiniRC yea, the buzzsaw with stock esc is still a little too jumpy for my liking. Ill probably go with the iguana to hopefully get the better slow control then. If still too fast, torquebeast it is haha Thanks
@@TheShopMiniRC Just looked like there was enough pinion length there to stack a few thin shim stock washers on the spur shaft first before installing the spur. :)
Wow what a awesome playground, appreciate you sharing. Love the video I’ll be watching for more
It’s awesome for sure. We are fortunate to be near.
love it when we get rc deliveries, cool upgrades dude😀👍👍👍
Thanks a ton!! We love em too ;)
The hill climb was awesome!!
We had fun running it!
These in depth videos are great- appreciate the content!
Thanks for the thanks!

He’s fantastic.
Bench grind a little on the motor can side IMHO!? Great video!! Thanks!
That could work too. All it took was a slight adjustment in the angle we mounted to the motor plate though.
Great video Ken! Keep up the work bro!
Thanks my good sir!!
Nice info. I have buzzsaw 50 11t coming. And iguana 20A esc
Nice 👍 Should be a good time for sure!!
Great video 👍😍👍
Thanks a ton!!!

Very true.
That buzzsaw is what I got in mine but I didn't get the big pinon I wish I would have
It’s definitely fast as hell.
Interested in how long a nylon spur lasts with that kind of speed w/ a brass pinion.
We will find out.
I wonder if you could get an number off the chip that shart the bed and buy a replacement online and solder it in to fix the board?
If you were good at soldering and knew what you were doing, I am sure it could be fixed.

Lmao. Might help! Haha.

It would be better with the smaller pinion for sure. But it’s not horrible if you have a good esc and transmitter.

Could the spur be brought out with some washers to clear the button heads?
I guess it’s possible, you just don’t want to end up 1/2 way in the pinion.

Why don’t people do the paper trick with gear mesh anymore?
Many don’t know about it. I mention it in a few videos.
what if the driveshafts are not in phase?
Worst case, at high speed there might be some vibration, and at extreme articulation there might be some binding.
My driveshafts was out of phase from the factory.
It happens.
