I think she had too many injuries and she also struggled with puberty. There was a lot of competition coming up behind her with Ponor, Ban, Cojacar and Safronie.
Ezhova of Russia was robbed. Watch her routine, it was absolutely stellar but she does not have a big name like some of her teammates (eg Khorkina, Zamolodichkova) or of Raducan herself.
@@rolandgreen7484 oh I did and I agree 100%. Her routine had so much variety and was super smooth with only the dismount a noticeable place for deduction- and that wasn’t much. Her first triple series was iconic. Raducan won several medals simply by name and not by performance unfortunately, and it’s a shame because far more deserving routines were overlooked.
@@rolandgreen7484 Nah Raducan is a more powerful gymnast and she worked the COP better. Ezhova had several balance checks, had a pause in her connections and did her hip to beam element the way FIG don't like it. Plus ui wasn't that artistic in its composition, which didn't work with the 10SV code of points. With practice to get the connection bonuses, it would do better under the current code of points, with the elements being listed one after the other. Raducan had better connections, didn't have any big errors in it, was more of an artistic competition and that connected back handspring double Arabian alone was winning her beam medals before anyone knew who she was because no one else was doing that kind of thing then. She gets a 10SV just for that
That was literally better than any beam routine I've seen throughout the year!
She is amazing !! i love her
That is the form of an Olympic champion. She could have benign competing more years!

i love the camera angles on beam at this worlds

@cryssbest
did Cojocar get bronze?
She took the gold(9.650) and Ejova took the silver.
WOW Larissa Iordache who?!
Sun Xiaojiao.
Winner by reputation only, not because she was better. What a laughable score for a routine with several errors.
