SWF Spoon Fly

This is a fly that I have been wanting to create for many years. Like so many Floridians, I grew up with the Weedless 1/4oz Johnson Minow Spoon. In this video you watch me tie a fly that I think delivers the same action as the Weedless Johnson Spoon. I need to send a special thanks to my friends at C&R Metals for crafting the cutter I use to make the shape. I would be inclined to thread wrap the hook for more adhesion even tho u are using resin, yes or no, pros & cons to this?
