How does the instrument know the temperature? Does it have a third sensor?
How to extend the wires to the sensor? Is it just to extend with a good copper wire?

Why I'm having issues to stabilize my temperature within the 60 minutes time to stabilize? it just gets to 25 sometime 15 minutes left and ir goes back to 60 minutes remaining, ant it never works after several Hurs of waiting.

Thanks for your comments ..... How can I measure the temperature of a plate .. more specifically ... the temperature of a tank plate , not from the fluid contained in the tank... thanks

Miguel, I think the key would be to find a thermal adhesive to attach the sensor to the plate. If the temperature range of the plate is less than a couple hundred degrees C you could use a thermistor. A thermistor would have greater resolution than a thermocouple.

angelino Z. Search for thermocouple tables. You can use the tables to convert a voltage to temperature. Our instruments have the tables built-in and use them to report temperature.
