    I have a One step 600 and while it will eject the cardboard Everytime, it never ejects the film. I took it apart and tested the hook manually and it grabs and pulls the film. I'm not sure what else to do. Happy to send it to you for a repair, but I'm in the United States and I suspect that would be very pricey.

    Hello, I hope someone here knows how to fix mine. My camera shoots the flash but the photos don't come out, I have no idea what's going on. Do you know what to do to fix it?

    Thank you for sharing.After reinstallation, the line at the junction of the flash and camera is exposed. How about the line can be inside like before it is not taken apart?

    I just got a used Polaroid I Type one step+ and it seems like the pick arm fell out completely. Is it fixable?

      I might be wrong, it’s just a metal part fell out from where I put the film

    I just dropped my perfectly working Polaroid 600 one step, and now it won’t eject the film.
    Is it safe to open as the one you showed in the video?
    I inspected everything inside as best as I could without opening it, everything seems in good condition, but I’d like to see it better

    I actually have the opposite problem with my Impulse AF: when I insert the new cartridge, the blank plastic ejects, but immediately after, one more picture ejects, I can alse see the flash blink, even tho it is closed. Any clue? Other than that, it works, just not sure if it will do the same with all new sets….

      sounds broken for sure. But also I dont really repair Impulse cameras. They are way too hard to open up reliably without breaking
      I just dont like them

    "Do NOT EVER do that!"
    Me: .......
    Lol. So I had similar ejection issues and pushed the pick arm down with a pick. Then it started ejecting 2 photos. I pushed it back up a few times, and now it ejects perfectly every time. I also made sure NOT to put too much pressure pushing it up or down. I was very careful with it. That was before I knew how to take these apart.

      Sadly I've seen too many people take the pick arm too far
      In a 600 it's not that bad, since there is lots of room inside to rectify your error, but in an SX-70 it's really dangerous

    • @AnAvgJoe
      @AnAvgJoe 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@theinstantcameraguy Thankfully none of my sx70s have this issue. Only problem one has is a ton of dust in the lens. And I mean a TON of dust. The most I've ever seen. To the point that it seems unreal how much dust is in there.

      This is a hard question to answer without having the camera in my hands looking at it personally
      Its like asking, "my car won't start, how do I fix it"
      Could be any number of issues

      @@mapleboi33 well if your pick arm is snapped in half then I think you have your answer!
      You either need to repair, or replace the arm itself

    Do you have much experience with 600s that won't stop ejecting?

    • @theinstantcameraguy
      @theinstantcameraguy  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Generally it's a film counter - or switch mechanism issue
      Can be hard / impossible to fix depending on the issue
