I only just took a fasting blood glucose test for pre employment and my bg was high. So I purchased a Reli-On Compact meter from Walmart to start monotering my bg levels. I was getting pretty consistent fasting morning readings with what the test had and pretty much within regular below 140s after meals...sometimes in 115 range..so not too bad...But, have you ever heard of different readings depending on which hand? I was really excited yesterday when I was almost within normal range....but had switched to my right hand when measuring for that reading. This morning, 119 with right hand, then 131 with left hand....only a minute apart....So happy, then so disappointed
