- What a day of fun, landing short in a plane against some of the craziest bunch of pilots I have met. All intent on landing the flying machines in the minimum distance.
I hoped that I wouldn't come last and ended up joint 8th which in my world (and being the first time I had ever tried to STOL the plane) was a result.
If you haven't been to a STOL event before or just fancy watching some planes its well worth checking out Sleap Airfield. The Café there is monumentally fab as well.
The winner by some length was Lewis Philips with a combined 33m (which is insane) 12m Take off and 21m Landing
