- Our all new locomotive announcement of the BR Class 60 Diesel locomotive last Friday really took the hobby and industry by storm, with modellers talking about little else. 🤩
We announced 7 main range locomotives, but also teased a glimpse of a couple of exclusive models, two of which we are now announcing!
We thought what better way to celebrate the class than to bookend them, with 60001 in the condition it left the works in back in 1989, featuring never before done details in model form, and 60100 as it is today under DB ownership.
Both locomotives will be available in limited numbers and in special presentation packaging that you have now come to expect with our Accurascale Exclusives range. They are available direct only via our website for the same great price as our main range; £169.99 DC/DCC ready and £269.99 DCC sound fitted.

Any chance you would consider a 3 car 205 DMU …glorious thumper the only multiple unit I would consider on my layout aka almost a class 20 few cylinders short but sound so nice Thanks Richard
I welcome this pack and thanks for doing this as a first and last.
I assume there gonna be scrapped soon
All of them, DB don't want anything to do with UK traction so all have been stored to rot away.
@sapphirejunction8993 Does DB want anything to do with anything on UK rails.
@@ethmister Probably not considering their form of late.
94 of the 99 have been sold/pending sale to undisclosed buyers. Only 60011, 60017, 60024, 60062 and 60074 remain and are in reserve. 60006 was scrapped due to fire damage in 2004.
@@BritishRail60062 That's good news, hopefully buyers in the UK.
Not going to lie, rather underwhelming to pick a regular DB Red 60 as an exclusive...Sure it was the last one built but it does not have the style of 66789 for instance, nor does it have any historical significance...
Going to be a hard pass from me this time round.
In fairness to Accurascale. 60100 is the last member and the last UK diesel locomotive to be built. 60098 would have been ideal maybe in EW&S livery but there is another company doing that one in triple grey for Rails of Sheffield.
Thought the British Steel pairing of 006 & 033 would have been a more logical choice.
Possible for a future release. But why would Accurascale want to model 60006 when it was scrapped in 2020 due the severe damage from the fire it had in 2004? But it was a nice livery though.
