I’ve been waiting for 5 months now, and still haven’t received not even the Receipt Number, what should I do?

Your attorney should be reaching out USCIS, USCIS always sends a document to confirm they received your application.

Hi, thank you for the video. USCIS manage their own resources, we pay for the immigration processes. I think USCIS should issue a general notice of extension for one year or more, which validates the permits that are already held based on the request made by the applicant. Because they have not responded within the corresponding periods, whatever the reasons may be. It is already known that COVID has affected everything, we understand that, but they should be honest and issue an official statement from their own website, in order to solve the problem, and not lengthen the delivery times for a plastic that they are not producing. An official notification through the USCIS website, would help employer and employees to be clearly inform by the official entity, and easily let employees legally to get or keep their jobs.

It took them 8 months to process my work card and now it's lost in the mail and I have to apply again and pay the fees again and wait another 3-4 months cause usps says it's delivered while it's not. They should send those work cards and important appointment notices via something like DHL with signature and not via regular mail where it may arrive and may not. Every week some mail gets lost.

Hi, I would like to ask something about auto-extension. I applied for renewal by mail in category A5, but unfortunately I prepared my application file 20-25 days after my card expired and sent it by the mail. So my card expired on January 5th, but I prepared and posted the file on January 28th. It's a mistake yes. but unfortunately I couldn't follow up when my work permit will expire due to other heavy problems. In this case, do I still have the automatic extension right?. Can I apply for a job right now?. Or did I miss the automatic extension right because I applied after expiratipn date?. thank you very much

Hi. Technically it's possible, but doesn't work. I did it three times and even got an answer, see the part of that: "We regret to inform you that we cannot grant your request for expedited processing of your case." No way: wait. I calling them(ASAP has an algorithm how to bypass the robot): they just doubling what I see myself in my online uscis account. I lost two good opportunities to get a job. But now I am working where ead doesn't have an importance and salary is acceptable. Just utilizing the situation the best way.

Check your case status and if you are outside the processing time, you can submit a case inquiry

We have received your service request and researched the status of your case. We have had to perform additional review, and this has caused a delay in processing time. Your case is currently in line for processing and adjudication. Cases are processed in the order in which they were received. THAT'S WHAT YOU GOING TO GET.
