More and more heart problems are showing to younger people 😢
I think young people are taking on too much. We just want succeeded and do it all, barely stopping for a breath. Social media fuels this. My other concern is Covid vaccine, but can't be 100 sure

Did he have a heart attack?
26 years old is young to have a heart attack.
Did he have a congenital heart issue?
Why didn't he stop to breathe or to drink water if he was running a marathon?
Was it a heat stroke?
mid 20s Celsius temperatures and 60% humidity on the day, tough to run a marathon; even professional athletes struggle in these conditions. It may have contributed to his collapse
It could have very well been an underlying issue. Heart disease is the #1 killer of Americans and has been for a long time.
One famous example I can think of is the artist Patrick Nagel who did an "aerobathon" to raise funds for the American Heart Association in 1984. He died of a heart attack 15 minutes in. He was only 38. Autopsy revealed he had a congenital condition that had been undetected his whole life.
It's not a bad idea to invest in a blood pressure monitor (you can get them pretty cheap) and check it every once in a while.

A physical would have unlikely picked up an abnormal rhythm in a 26 year old.

It was a marathon - family last saw him at 18 miles.
All right so I don't have to hear about the jab he was a chef he wasn't a triathlete.
