I just purchased one of those poufs a few days ago. Same color. I use it to store both stuffed animals and bedding. I stuffed it with a king comforter, a thick king blanket, a single layer quilt, a triple layer quilt, a teddy bear, a soft stuffed leopard, a faux fur blanket, and a regular pillow. I was amazed at the amount of room it has inside. It's pretty comfy to sit on and although it's heavy it's easy to push on carpet. Faux leather looks good and it's durable. If it holds up well it'll turn out to be a great buy.

Just adapt it to your budget/circumstances/lifestyle . I can never understand criticising someone for giving you IDEAS! It's an idea, not an instruction/command. This means it can be ADAPTED. Buy a shoe cabinet second hand/ get one from free item exchange groups, or use a book case you have/thrifted and put baskets from the dollar store in it to sort shoes - same idea, executed in a way that's feasible for you. Maybe you don't have baskets on a wall because that doesn't make sense in your house. Maybe instead you have a collection of containers (could even be food tins/cartons from packaging if other items that you decorate and use to collect random kids items etc. Some ideas may not apply to you because your children have different habits from hers. Leave those and take the ones that could be useful for you.
