some space hulks are massive rivaling small moon or asteroid size. blowing it up required very heavy firepower like nova cannon or exterminatus level weapons. not ideal when counting its sometimes functional void shield, very thick hulls etc

There is one thing that I never understood. How do Genestealers travel through space? How do they infest planets with their cults without spaceships? How can they get from space hulks to planets if they even do and how can they survive in the warp?
The Chaos Gods play with the minds of their targets (just read this like devils telling people to do bad things), the Tyranid's soldiers (to which the Genestealers are one type) don't really "think" like we do; instead they are directed by the Hive Mind. Since the Hive Mind doesn't seem to show up on Chaos' radar as corruptible, all the minion creatures have a free pass thru the warp if they should be caught in it. The Tyranid fleets also don't use Warp travel, so they stay out of Chaos' way in that regard too.
HalfBreedMix I mean the Genestealer infested Hulks which are in the warp. I know how Tyranids travel through space and all but what is about Genestealers on their own?

For example: A ships Gellar field failure during warp travel, demons pouring in infesting ship and dropped out of warp, or its warp engine exploded or acts weirds somehow and this creates small warp hole which sucks ship into warp, or random Warp storm sucks up space ship debris, or maybe chaos gods shenanigans.
Imagine a building of 30+ levels, rectangular, shiplike. Since it is exoatmospheric it has no requirement for being streamlined. Every image I have of them resembles the child of a castle, London in the 1800s, and a large cargo ship.
how were chaos space marines made after the Horus heresy? i mean i know they are from the traitor legions which already had 1000s but after the heresy their numbers would be whittled down over the course of time and i presume the chaos gods wouldn't use the same methods as the imperium so how would they replace their numbers?
sindey 2000 they recruit...but usually from people they capture or people they find worthy. they steal geneseed from the imperum if tgey have none and use it to make new marines of their own if they have none. look up the story of honsu of the iron warriors he had the geneseed of Rogal Dorn becaues the warsmith didnt have any of his primarch so they have to make due. they called him the halfblood becaues of it and some treated him with disrespect becaues of it also.
Some warbands use geneseeds(their usable own geneseed or stolen from LSM) on willing/unwilling recruits, some replenish their number by taking up newly corrupted LSMs, and sometimes Chaos god resurrects their favorite champions.
hmm i gave a couple thoughts about them stealing it from PoWs or just the chaos gods using their magic but it would be cool to see OMS doing a episode on this subject
oh they will extract geneseeds from captured LSMs. there is this thing called Daemonculaba(one example of creating CSMs), and Thousand Sons Legions Sorcerers sometimes perform Lesser Rubric ritual on captured LSMs.
Personally, I'm a fan of the Souldrinkers and the Brokenback. Because of this, I wish you guys had gone more in-depth with it. That being said, of the other Space Hulks mentioned, some you gave more info on, others you didn't. While I'm not familiar wwith most of them, I do know the Brokenback had an interesting history with the Souldrinkers, such as the various xenos ships it was composed of, the smaller ships the Souldrinkers used in some of their campaigns (including living metal vessels that may have been Necron in origin!), the campaigns it took part in, and the final events leading up to its destruction.

A fail mass warp jump where the Geller field turns off. Old wreckeges caught up by a warp storm... etc that kind of thing. For the traveling, let's just say they drifted in the warp and the warp spitted them out one day. There could be orks inside that founded a way to warp jump, chaos deamons who use it with unholy technology, or just a dead wreckage full of tyranids, etc... Doesn't mean they can warp back in, it all depends who's inside.
