Regular viewers of my channel are very familiar with my disappointment in the Joma brand. There's no nice way of saying that they've straight up ripped off designs from other, more popular brands. With that said, before all of the copying nonsense, Joma built a name for themselves on original designs, some of which are excellent! Case in point, the Joma Top Flex.
In today's video we take a closer look at one of the best, and most affordable indoor/futsal models in the Joma Top Flex! It costs half as much as top-end competitors from the more popular brands, and offers an arguably superior level of quality, along with some pretty clever design elements. I know I've thrown Joma under the bus multiple times, and rightfully so, but these are great, and I want to tell you why!

Joma (as well as XMunich and Kelme) are among the most famous futsal brands in the World for many years now. Recently in the Futsal World Cup this year, the Top Flex Rebound is the top scoring futsal shoe in the tournament, followed by the Adidas Topsala. A lot of Pro futsal players prefer Joma than any other common popular brands, closely followed by XMunich. Great vid as well!
What does the Rebound mean? Is it a seperate version than regular Top Flex?
@@khelgarironfist3301 Rebound is a bit like the Adidas boost in a way. It gives you a more of a boost/quicker response and it is a higher profile shoe for players. I think it is worth the extra 5-10 dollars in my opinion.
@@khelgarironfist3301 they added more height in the mid-sole area. A bit taller and bounchier in my opinion
Some pros still prefer lower sole because of responsiveness. But I believe it's just preference

Joma is a known brand worldwide. Their futsal boots collection is one of the best. Top Flex, Regate Rebound, Mundial ,and Dribbling all offer great durability, flexibility, and affordable shoes in the market. It is definitely one of the main reasons why top Futsal players wear Joma footwear.
I have both the turf and indoor variations. Great boots for those of us with wide feet.
how is the grip on the sole of the turf - is it long lasting? (do the little grips not wear down too quickly)
@@huzcer No, this is an excellent durable shoe. I used this shoe for playing and reffing and it holds up pretty well.
Do you reckon true to size?
I really like this shoes. The suede and the leather have nice touch on the ball and the gum sole bites on the floor like crazy.

Honest to god, I remember watching that original review you did in the Vujojosh days, and it got me to pick up a pair that I bought when a local store was having a closing-down sale (€20!).
In my opinion, they are to indoor shoes what Select is to footballs, in that they're just a perfect representation of what said product is supposed to be.
A Select ball (brillant super, numero 10, most of them really) feels like what a football SHOULD feel like, and a Joma Top Flex feels like how an indoor shoe SHOULD feel.
It's the biggest compliment I can give them. If I ever go back to playing indoors, I'll probably just get another pair of these, don't even need to think about alternatives really.

Back 5 years ago i have Nike Tiempo x Genio 2 (TF) and quite similar to topflex but after 1 year they started overly Stretch on Suede upfront idk if topflex gonna have same problem or not
Just bought my first official ball and it's a brilliant super. It just feels crisp idk how to explain it kicking it feeling it hit the foot when you juggle it's just crisp absolutely mint ball
I was set on getting a pair of top flex until I tried on the Joma dribbling.
They've turned out to be perfect indoor boot for me... same durability and quality manufacturing, same comfort in the heel and leather upper, but a slimmer toe profile and lighter weight. Not to mention they were just over half the price of the top flex!
I love JOMA dribbling too. Best value for the money shoe in the market. The Top Flex does offer the upper leather, but overall you cannot go wrong the dribbling shoe especially with the price.
@@giovannifreitas2533 My original pair finally gave on me a few days ago, after 5 years of heavy abuse playing 4 odd hours per week indoors. The sole is still incredibly grippy with just a tiny piece of one of the rubber ridges having come off (maybe just a ~1cm strip line). I was able to get a half size smaller than usual for an even tighter fit on the toe, because the width of the shoe fit so well. Despite that, the toe box is still in perfect shape, the shoe actually split on the outside edge of my dominant foot where the upper is joined to the sole. Luckily last year I picked up the newer model in indoor and turf variants so I'm all set for another 5 odd years hopefully, but seems they have discontinued the "dribling" line now, so I've picked up 3 more pairs, FOR UNDER A HUNDRED BUCKS!!! less than I used to spend on a single pair of (top of the line) nike or adidas JUNK that broke after a year.
4 pairs at another 5 years each... I'll be happy if I can still walk in 20 years!

Haha because they aren't. I always buy them a size smaller, so that could also be part of the issue.
Crazy that a 15 (?) year old shoe is still the most used shoe at the world cup afaik.
I wear US 8 for Adidas X or Nike models and US 7 for Joma Top Flex and Regate Rebound. Can't imagine how going through your normal size can be a good option. Joma sizes run bigger and if you buy a pair of Top Flex make sure to have them as tight as possible even if your toes hurt, they're gonna stretch all the way to the shape of your feet and even more by the time. This is the only big problem with Top Flex they stretch too much no matter how tight they were before.
what size are u when it comes to regular shoes?
I think not much gonna Stretch, bc i have the synthetic version one and run true to size and i have wide feet
I got the same issues, they will stretch all the way
True, those stretch a lot. I go one size down and even then I have to do double socks for perfect fit. Once I even went two size down and after stretching got perfect fit single sock but breaking time was really painful so now I just stick to one size down plus double socks.
i love joma, best fitting shoe for my foot. most other brands are too narrow. these are very nice looking durable and let me play without any hassle. and especially for the price this brand is great.

@@kucinglaper89 try the Mizuno Morelia Sala amigo, those are incredible! Or the Copa Indoor is my favorite (on par with the Mizuno)

Grabbed one of these recently. While they are good for the price, the front leather of the right shoe got seperated from the suede just after the first game.. must've been bad luck. Loved the thick tongues.
