- Here is a (not so quick) video highlighting some of the tips and tricks about the Microfreak's Unison mode. I hope it can be helpful to somebody, sorry if this one got a little rambling!

You can make it so that you need to click the patch knob after twisting it to change the patch - which prevents a lot of accidental changes. It’s in the settings somewhere.
That's so helpful, thank you! Found it in the manual: "Press Utility>Browsing>Click to Load to change this setting"

perfect explanation. Thought that unison count was from the root note up. now i know why it was impossible to play in tune with unison

You only need to hold down the Paraphonic button, you'll still be able to change the unison spread after letting go of shift.
