- Arturia Microfreak Cycling Envelope Explored!
Today we're continuing my initial exploration of the Arturia Microfreak by taking a look into the cycling envelope. This awesome little feature not only gives you a second envelope generator, but can also double as a second LFO! Enjoy the video!

I have a question about how this works and the comment section says, “RTFM ya dummy!” So I go an do that. Still confused. Then, TH-cam hits me with this video and in less than 12 minutes, I get it.
Once again, you are the man! Thank you so very much 🙏
Glad I was able to help you out, the Microfreak is a complex beast indeed! Thanks for watching :)
Dude, I don’t know how you can keep making videos every day! I’m jealous!
I love seeing what you do, and keep it up if you can. I may have said it before, but for people new to synthesis a lot of your videos are very helpful.
Be safe!
Haha thank you! I decided I wanted to do this for as close to a living as possible, so I've just dedicated all of my time to filming, editing, and improving my videos. Thanks so much for the kind words!
Thanks man,y micro freak can be a bit daunting at times, bit this video makes things very comprehensive
Glad you enjoyed it :) This video was hard for me to make because I'm still learning myself, the Freak is so deep lol. Thanks for watching!
I should have already known this owning 2, but amazingly valuable! Great channel! Thanks for the tip my friend 🙏
Thanks so much!
Much appreciated. Your clear voice and straightforward examples really help me get my head around what the MicroFreak offers.
A middle-aged string player, I thought I'd explore a basic DAWless setup (Circuit Tracks + MicroFreak) as a wind down after each day in front of a computer. I've found this synthesizer a bit overwhelming.
clear , precise. thank you
Thanks for watching!
very well explained, thx
Great videos! Hope you stay safe and well
Thanks so much!
Just got an MF and I'm going back over your videos I had skipped. Thanks!
Merci beaucoup. Muito obrigado
Thanks for watching!
Thanks for the video! I guess there is no way to apply the cycling envelope to the amp, which I feel like is one of the main things you would use it for in modular - to basically be your amp envelope for quick attack percussion, etc. am I missing something or is this not possible?
what is that black tape looking strip on the top right? i see it on every microfreak video, is it really a part of it?
I believe you're referring to the tab just off of the screen. That's the little screen protector plastic that came with the microfreak. I just haven't peeled it off yet hahaha
Hey. Subbed. Waiting for more ....
Thank you so much! New videos come out everyday, and if you're looking specifically for microfreak content, I'll have a new video out in just a few days!
Public service announcement: don’t dive in wells.
Solid info
thanks, I was close there for a moment but then I saw this comment
