I also love items that have an interesting history. I know Coach may not be luxury but I love and have many “feed bags”, which is their oversized bucket bag. The feed bag was used to feed the horses. Great review.

Great video love your voice and tone quality. l have several older LV pieces and l travel with my old Alize bag and my Saumur 30. I was looking to upgrade and l am shocked by the prices today. I have seen a few pre loved Pegasus and Horizon luggage pieces. Doing research to see if they are worth it. Thanks for sharing your honest review.

I have been wanting a Horizon rolling luggage for well over a year now. Yesterday, I pulled the trigger at LV Denver and purchased the 55 in the Daimer Ebene. I plan to use it mostly for car road trips, although last night I had to fly it home to Montana. I also bought the cover for it (which is expensive at $300+). However, I used the cover and dust bag and that worked great for the flight. One advantage of the 70 is that it already comes with the cover whereas the 50/55 don’t which is why I bought it separately. But you can’t carryon the 70 so that’s a disadvantage. I really like the piece and look forward to using it.

I was today years old when I learned that luggage without the bars inside was even a thing!. now I need to find luggage meeting this criteria. Nope wont be LV I would hell anxiety of it getting damaged. 🤦🏾♀️Also, I gotta go read the blog on how you pack carryon only- I do that but when I say it 👏🏽is 👏🏽a 👏🏽struggle👏🏽 I be ready to cancel vacation bc packing stresses me out.
Oui ma amour! Those bars are sneaky, taking up valuable real estate. I linked few luggage sets that I absolutely adore (I have one of the sets included.) Designer luggage is definitely stress inducing. I found myself looking for damages. I'm trying to get better at accepting every reality I mentioned in this video.

95% of my travel is just road trips to nice resorts, so the horizon is definitely on my wish list. I’m loving the new emprient version in the color turtle dove. 🥰🥰🥰 and I can picture myself walking into a nice lobby with my LV Horizon in emprient leather, with matching “On the go” bag and matching “keepall”. Girl!! 😍😍😍

If you can afford to drop a few grand on nice luggage, why wouldn't you bring it on a commercial flight? It's the same for people who buy those protective covers that make it hard to get inside. Luggage is a tool meant to be used, not kept pristine forever.
@@Noah-Lach I care for the items I spend my money on, and they last longer that way. When I was in my twenties I bought a luggage set that was very pretty and I loved it so much. It wasn’t crazy expensive, but when one piece of luggage came back literally with big chunks missing it made me very sad. The airline gave only $25 to reimburse me for the damage. After that experience, I only travel commercial flights with a cheap samsonite suitcase that has held up well and I won’t cry if it gets severely damaged.
Great review I was going to ask you about the Horizon 50 if it can be used as a carry on inside the plane but like you said there might be a chance you might need to check it.
I have the Sling might get the Dean for a little more space.

Hi, watching a few of your videos and loving them. I have the older carry on that you have to tilt and pull. I am considering purchasing LV Horizon. What did you do with your old one? Which one do you think is better? The one I have is soft while the new ones are hard case. Curious how you feel when packing them.

I don't understand why would you buy a Louis Vuitton Checked luggage.I would never purchase a checked Louis Vuitton or Gucci unless I was flying on a Private Jet, that way I will still have full vision of my bag.

Can 55 size go in the cabins as carry-on?
I recommend checking with the airline carrier, size requirements often vary.
But anyone can open the bag zipper with a pen so i don’t think is that luxury
