Eric Moore is AMAZING. If you want to see something absurd, years ago he actually did a drum-off with death metal drummer Derek Roddy. Somehow they each actually kept up with each other. It's incredible.

Probably because Eric Moore actually plays (or at least played) with a metal band. But of course you can keep up with anyone when you're this fast!
One of my top 5 drummers in the world. What a lovely sound, what incredible grooves, it is almost as magic
A little behind the scenes ... Yeah, Eric tunes as a lot of seasoned pros do, mostly by feels but he gets a pretty specific pitch from each of the drums. In another video he plays When The Saints Go Marching In on the toms. We shot 2 of this song. Chris Brady, the Aquarian rep, and I looked at each other and shrugged as to which one we would pick. Both were like this but for me, it was near the end with the floor/kick/high tom bit that he slowly cycles down the rack toms with the kick floor pattern blazing underneath. There was very little warm up. We got everything set and got levels in the ear monitors, cameras were ready and he just exploded. This video, a couple solos with no music and a few demo videos for the heads and it was all done in about 2.5 hours and we were off to lunch. It took longer to set up and tear down the mics than it did for him to lay this down. On top of it, Eric is a great guy. Check out the ice rink videos. Those were fun!!!! I had the pleasure of seeing Eric Moore play with Suicidal Tendencies some years back. The man is consistently amazing!
anyone discovering Eric Moore with this video, check him out on the Track / Video "Smash it" by Suicidal Tendencies. Back in the day when that album came out, I had to admit that Mr. Moore wa way more talented that anyone gave him credit for. He has made a name for himself among the greats.

Have you tried Mi Honor Se Llama Fidelidad by Illapa, half way into the song the drummer is changing the speed at which he's playing the pedals and wow i don't think i,ve see anyone else do this at that speed.

I learned to play double kick when I was 10 years old my drum teacher was like you're ready for this and I think to him everyday for teaching it to me and when I was 12 he reversed my drum set from right side to left side and maybe play him industrious now I rock too high has two snares two floors and forehead times two crashes and two right symbols two cowbells

Did you hear the “Easter Egg” at the very end of this video? Took me a few listens to catch it. ;-)
Eric Moore started playing in churches, but he is a pro and not really a gospel/megachurch drummer, like Chris Coleman. Eric played for Sly and Family Stone, Nobby Brown, Suicidal Tendencies and Infectious Grooves among many others.
