I did not Receive return SMS during Set-Up as shown in video (03:13). Can you tell me why i am not receiving a Return SMS when requesting the device Status (@#STATUS?) as shown in video (04:35)?
This is a very useful video. I am buying this GA09 for an alarm system. One question I have: if the mode is set to call when input status changes, how does it tell you which input has changed? (Input 1 or input 8?) Is the call silent? Would you have to set the contact mode to call and text to know which input status has changed?

cann't use the AA battery, that cann't provide enough current for the GSM device to work. so you need to use the DC5V At least 2A power adapter. of course, that would be better to use at Least 6V to 15V. because if use DC5V, if your power voltage is not stable ,then that is easy to restart or disconnect fro the GSM net.
@@waferstar In fact I want to use it to send an alarm in case of loss of current at the 220v sector is this possible? because the inputs are dry contact and unique so I do not know how to do the wiring. Thanks
WARNNING!! Product caused battery fire so buyer beware of this! I bought two at the time and so I was worried the other one would do the same. I tried to send it back and could not get a response from company. Also I learned this unit no longer works in US due to 2g. Customer support is non existence with this company and so I would NOT trust them. These are seen on ebay and amazon, but I don't think they are aware of the battery issue. All I can say is be careful if you have one of these.
1. For US, need to order the 3G or 4G version 2. This is a GA09 gsm alarm box, there is no battery inside. So I think you must use a battery to power on the GA09 device, but maybe you shorted the battery, then your battery must has big problems. so please take care of this if you are not a qualified engineer.

It doesn't take an engineer to use this product or understand how to use it. If that were the case then you should sell to engineers only? Maybe so. Also, your follow-up with customers is through this post many months later? Really? I tried to contact you for several weeks and there is no response from you or your company if you have one. Anyhow, moot subject for me, what I posted was an accurate experience with your product and I would not recommend it to anyone. And apparently, I'm not the only complaint you have had with this subject. Prospective buyers, do you do diligence to verify. Good day.
@@Conk102 your make a big mistke. there is no battery together with the GA09 products. and also there is plug for battery. I cann't understand your meaning. GA09 is powered with DC12V power adaper. no battery input and also no battery in the package.

Sorry , if you want to know which input has changed, then need to use the SMS report.

I think I made a mistake when inputting the tel no, so not getting any sms reply. Tried to send reset but for nothing. Can you help pls
