His policies, like Reaganomics & Cold War diplomacy, had a huge impact on the U.S. & throughout the world. He basically ENDED the Soviet Union! Reagan gets an A+

Ulysses Grant 6. Ronald Reagan 7. Thomas Jefferson 8. Calvin Coolidge 9. John F Kennedy 10. Wiliam Henry Harrison Honorable mention Gerald R. Ford I will explain WHH so he was a war hero before becoming president. He helped decisively defeat the British in the war of 1812. Other than that he promised to be a one term president and overall limit the power of the presidency. While he could have gone back on there is no evidence that he would have. But I think that his most important legacy is in him dying. He established the precedent of what happens when a president dies in office. Without that and president Taylor's death to further cement the way it was to be done, there could have been a scramble for power after Lincoln was assassinated that could have led to even more issues after his death.
@@ivandinsmore6217 Calvin Coolidge in my opinion is ranked so highly not necessarily because of the things he did but because of the things he didn't do. He would often limit his own power refusing to act because he wanted to respect the limitations of the office under the constitution. Plus he went into office promises that he kept then he didn't run again because he had accomplished all his goals. Don't get me wrong he did a lot of good things for instance he brought the nation together after the death of President Harding and he oversaw a thriving American economy during the rolling twenties. Additionally he signed the Indian Citizenship act of 1924 which gave all the Native Americans citizenship. And so all of those things combined make for a really good president one who is very underrated.

Now as for Alexander Hamilton he was born in the West Indies which is outside of the United States. But hypothetically if that didn't make him ineligible he still most likely wouldn't have become president because he was one of the later founding fathers. He was seen as very much a protege of George Washington being both his aide de camp (basically a high ranking helper and advisor) during the war. He also served as the first secretary of the Treasury under Washington. In fact he is probably the single founding father that has the most impact on our daily life today because he set up a lot of the federal monetary system.
