    This is by far the most based list I’ve ever seen for president rankings. Except for having FDR rated way too high (should be ranked around 40), this list is pretty close to perfect.

      @ I just have to put the Mount Rushmore ones as the top 4. Trump has the potential to move up depending on how well he does this term. Grant was the president that got the ball rolling with desegregation, and Coolidge is the single most underrated president ever.

    My top ten; based on my opinions not only of their presidency but overall contributions to US history.
    1. George Washington
    2. Theodore Roosevelt
    3. Abraham Lincoln
    4. Dwight D. Eisenhower
    5. Ulysses Grant
    6. Ronald Reagan
    7. Thomas Jefferson
    8. Calvin Coolidge
    9. John F Kennedy
    10. Wiliam Henry Harrison
    Honorable mention
    Gerald R. Ford
    I will explain WHH so he was a war hero before becoming president. He helped decisively defeat the British in the war of 1812. Other than that he promised to be a one term president and overall limit the power of the presidency. While he could have gone back on there is no evidence that he would have. But I think that his most important legacy is in him dying. He established the precedent of what happens when a president dies in office. Without that and president Taylor's death to further cement the way it was to be done, there could have been a scramble for power after Lincoln was assassinated that could have led to even more issues after his death.

    • @jonathanbruins8124
      @jonathanbruins8124 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@ivandinsmore6217 Calvin Coolidge in my opinion is ranked so highly not necessarily because of the things he did but because of the things he didn't do. He would often limit his own power refusing to act because he wanted to respect the limitations of the office under the constitution. Plus he went into office promises that he kept then he didn't run again because he had accomplished all his goals. Don't get me wrong he did a lot of good things for instance he brought the nation together after the death of President Harding and he oversaw a thriving American economy during the rolling twenties. Additionally he signed the Indian Citizenship act of 1924 which gave all the Native Americans citizenship. And so all of those things combined make for a really good president one who is very underrated.

      Contrary to "some" opinions, recent evaluations by "the" historians and economists indicate that Biden’s performance ranks among the lowest tiers of U.S. presidents. His handling of Key events, such as the egregiously plotted withdrawal from AFGHANISTAN (2021) which led to the TALIBAN taking over & the Calamitous deaths of U.S. service members... has been Widely criticized. Additionally, his administration gave us severe inflation rates, that Climaxed with a 40-year high (2022) + Significant challenges with rising energy prices. Biden's disastrous term reflected the People's dissatisfaction with his economic policies & Dismal response to global crises. The Final Nail in Joe's political Coffin was being Removed from office by his OWN party.. in favor of his VP, who also failed to get Over with the voters by Proxy.

      They were never President

    • @jonathanbruins8124
      @jonathanbruins8124 3 วันที่ผ่านมา +2

      Benjamin Franklin and Alexander Hamilton while both prominent founding fathers, never became president.
      Benjamin Franklin might have become president except for the fact that he actually passed away in 1790 the year after George Washington was sworn in. George Washington was seen as the natural choice for the first president as the victorious general, especially since the people were ready to crown him king. Where Benjamin Franklin was important in the war was securing French aide. He helped publish newspapers and political cartoons to sway the colonists towards revolution. He also was an important member of the Continental Congress.
      The other important thing also to remember is that the revolution was won in 1783 and George Washington was elected president in 1789. This was because from 1781 to 1789 the United States had a different form of government called the articles of confederation. Starting from before the war ended until they made the constitution we still have today, there was no president. But this proved to create a very weak and ineffective federal government that needed that chief executive to be a definitive leader.
      Now as for Alexander Hamilton he was born in the West Indies which is outside of the United States. But hypothetically if that didn't make him ineligible he still most likely wouldn't have become president because he was one of the later founding fathers. He was seen as very much a protege of George Washington being both his aide de camp (basically a high ranking helper and advisor) during the war. He also served as the first secretary of the Treasury under Washington. In fact he is probably the single founding father that has the most impact on our daily life today because he set up a lot of the federal monetary system. However Hamilton was a bit of a hot head and he was killed in a duel by Arron Burr in 1804 in Thomas Jefferson's second year in office. Meaning that the fathers who had a bit more seniority were still in power and would probably have beaten out Hamilton in an election.
