I've made this recipe around 10 times now i love it, so easy for a weeknight meal and absolutely yumm, after everythings cooked i add around quarter cup of water and deglaze the pan so i have a little bit of a gravy/sauce instead of totally dry, it goes well with rice ❤️
Thanks for the vid, I just had this for dinner tonight following your guide. Very quick, maybe 10 mins tops cooking time. Nomnomnom, my fave Thai dish. I will have to try some more of your recipes, thank you :)
Love it....though u never prepare the ingredients on tym but to tell u the truth it looks easy and delicious from the other videos that I have seen so thank u real Thai for the efforts made to cook and make this video
I really wanted to make this dish, but I asked around and I can't find "oi" as you mention at 1:12 and 3:45, so i gave up. Is there a substitute for oi?
Great job, both of you! I'm enjoying watching, even I'm not cooking often myself;) The beef stirring with a soup bowl thing;) I love the Thai Way ! Cheers guys
Maybe I can give you some pointers. ,,,should you prep all your ingredients first and kinda organize them before you start rolling your camera?? Have a list f of your ingredients at the end of your show,,,that way you don't have a hard time pronouncing the words... I do love Thai foods especially Thai beef jerky ,,sticky rice and papaya salad ( sum tan) mild chilli peppers....
Hi dear, thank you for the video, this gives some idea how to cook this meal. I kindly advice you: 1. The wok is too thin, please use nonstick, thicker pan - that will help you 2. Prepare your ingredients first as people say in comments 3. Wash everything - veggies, meat, cutting board and hands. Good luck! Dont give up.
1.Mis en place all ingredients first 2.Marinate the beef to absorb the flavor. 3.the way you mix using laddle can break the vegetables 4.use non stick pan
M Z buddy heat kills most of the cross contaminations lol. white people and their contamination fears. ntw when i say white, i mean westerner who have never ventured east enough to develop a decent immune system.
Asad, I understand your reply, and yes it is important to develop an good immune system, don't get me wrong the recipe is amazing. Some people don't have good immune systems, due to medications or illnesses. I cook for my grandfather and I don't want him to get sick. Cheers Asad
Sharon Mills to each their own but i prefer as in the video. i presonaally cant stand carrots, mushrooms and will absolutely refuse to eat any dish with brocolli
If I was ordering out, I would expect it to be prepared with the ingredients that the video chef used. This is the way I make it at home - don't want my Asian cooking to taste the same so I follow the recipe maybe with minor changes. Makes a big difference. And you make a good point, so I'll state it - Your kitchen - Your rules.
Good recipe but that's not what Europeans call fillet beef..... That's just quite clearly a bit of rump steak. Most take-away's that specify 'fillet beef', it's not so don't get fooled, as some rip you off and charge at £16.00 for a supposed fillet beef dish when it's been top-side... I eat an awful lot of chinese food.... I would say 95% of take-away's just use ordinary top-side of beef sliced very thinly to cook very quick which avoids chewiness and it's really good but it's not fillet. Perhaps the Chinese and Thai get confused with 'fillet steak' and 'filleted' meaning in their minds free from bones (which let's face it most cheaply available beef is)...
Ingredients :
300g Beef steak sliced thinly
Cooking oil
Garlic - 2 large rough chopped
2 tbsp Oyster sauce
1 + 1 tbsp Light soy sauce
Flour - 1 heaped tbsp
Around 1 tsp Black pepper
1/2 sliced Red bell pepper
1/4 sliced green bell pepper
1/2 medium Yellow onion
4 Oyster mushrooms
1+1/2 tsp Brown sugar
I've made this recipe around 10 times now i love it, so easy for a weeknight meal and absolutely yumm, after everythings cooked i add around quarter cup of water and deglaze the pan so i have a little bit of a gravy/sauce instead of totally dry, it goes well with rice ❤️

Yeah you're right.. seems like she's in a hurry..she should prepare everything beforehand
The way she prepares it seems very authentic, but I have an issue with the cross contamination parts I saw.
M Z buddy heat kills most of the cross contaminations lol. white people and their contamination fears. ntw when i say white, i mean westerner who have never ventured east enough to develop a decent immune system.

M Z he wont get sick. If the quality of the products are high and you heat them properly there is no way he can get sick
I don't want to start a back an for conversation, i just wanted to bing a point. Cheers mz
Mai ow pet?!?
You should use non-stick pan..
Maell Jimmy no she should of used a lily beef broth for more flavor and it would not have stacked at all 🤦🏽♀️🤷🏽♀️
This is good foundation, need to add more more vegetables like broccoli, carrots and mushroom...
Sharon Mills to each their own but i prefer as in the video. i presonaally cant stand carrots, mushrooms and will absolutely refuse to eat any dish with brocolli

I cannot wait to make this at home Bee!! ขอขอบคุณ

dont use baking soda, that horrible way tenderize meat and changes texture
Add some stocks 😂
Omg
no sesame oil?
not in thai cooking
soundbombing I no right 🤷🏽♀️ omg what a mess this is 🤦🏽♀️
