I met a lady at a community garden/ craft store a few years ago, and asked her to teach me how to make peyote stitch. I never caught up to her again, in order to learn how to make the clasps and so once i realized that all this knowledge was here on your you tube site i was really excited and grateful! thanks for the refined explainations and teaching.....lol
Bead weaving, like many other handcrafts, takes some people longer than others. I didn't time how long I spent on this bracelet, and my time may vary quite a bit from someone else's, but I can say it did take a while, and you might spend anywhere from 4 - 10 hours on it, depending on how fast you work.
can you do this technique with odd count peyote, i am in the process of my my 2 daughters a name bracelet that is 9 beads wide and think this would look great x

For this pattern we made the toggle 75% as wide as the bracelet. The toggle hole is a 50% as wide as the bracelet. So for a 20 bead wide bracelet I'd suggest a toggle 15 beads wide, and a toggle hole 10 beads wide.
What a fabulous way to close a peyote bracelet. Thank you!! I did mine in 1950s colour tone stripes. Looks great! Thank you so much.

If using 11/0 delica beads, what size should I make the toggle for 20 beads wide bracelet?
