- Dave Hubbard is well renowned as the best all around bodyboarders, he rips laying down, drop knee and stand up. This video is dedicated to mostly Dave doing dropknee and stand up but has the odd prone trick too.

It's a shame we don't see more inverse rollos these days (too many backflips and aerial reverses in comps IMHO). Congrats for the vid anyway. It's always a pleasure to watch Dave show how versatile bodyboard is.

someone explain how can one stand up in a bodyboard? is that a special board? is it possible to do that on a regular 100$ bodyboard? someone answear please
You can do it on any board - Same as surfing, you just paddle into a wave and pop up. They do make boards for it but people were doing it way before any special boards. The hard part is catching the waves without fins.. although I've seen a few guys shave their fins down to almost nothing just for stand up.
