I really like how you use visuals with your verbal descriptions. You have a knack for keeping it short, yet paced and easy to grasp.

Both styles are fantastic! I really like clean/cozy they are

I love both of these. I think Japandi speaks more to me because of the color balance you mentioned. I also like how you can incorporate some mid century mod pieces in these and they will blend nicely with the overall aesthetic. Lovely examples.

Honestly I love both these styles. Leaning towards Japandi though.

I was doing Japandi long before I knew it was a thing 😂 just because I was drawn to both and indulged in the best of both for decades. Couldn't decide so just didn't.

I did Coastal Japandi ❤for my living/dining space. I used it for the natural color palette/imperfect texture & bringing nature inside. I have many tropical plants and natural materials. Love it. It’s my own creation 😊

I feel like my style is constantly flipping between these 2 styles. Thanks!! I wish I could save shorts :'(

It's not perfect, but I e-mail the shorts to myself. I haven't checked, but supposedly you can save shorts if you go to Nick's channel and click on his shorts. My concern is that they are set up in a block without the three dots you can click on to save (like the videos).

I’d save it to a created playlist here on YT

There's websites that let you download shorts/yt videos.. Alternatively click share and paste the link to a notes app

Right?! I save to a list for TH-cam shorts in the app Bear, but I’m loving seeing other people’s methods and may try out! Good ideas everyone!

Denim works well in Japandi looks- not repurposed jeans with pockets and zips, but new denim as upholstery. Indigo dying has a rich history in Japan so it's nice for that blue to leak into the interiors.

Blurry morning eyes = at first glance I thought the tittle was “japandi VS warm ‘vandalism’” …. I thought, “ok Nick, where is this one headed?“ 😅 Double takes are clarifying. 😌

@Nick_Lewis Hi Nick! Do you have a suggestion on how to separate two different areas that happens to be at one open area such as living room and dining room..will painting the walls with two different colours does the job?
