I love this guy so much. He's not like those stereotypical TH-cam food reviewers who acts all over dramatic to keep their viewers engaged. He just acts like your mate who is telling you about where he went to eat.
Joel is a good friend of mine . He kicked off in the trinity kitchen . He had just chicken and burger . Now he has a lot more choice and the food is absolutely amazing . So the reaction is perfect and what I would have expected .
Leeds has some top notch places to eat. Used to work there a few years ago. Place called foodie (on york road?) was one of my favs. Very small and not busy, but I thought it was amazing.
20 minutes into the video and he still hadn’t touched the food. Was I bothered, was I feck. Anybody else and I would have switched off, but Danny is so likeable and entertaining. You just have to keep watching.

The way the guy was banging on I thought it was going to end up a disaster, but that food looked incredible, he shows you the meat he's using, assembles it all in front of you, he's so friendly, remembers repeat customers, good on him, he fully deserves to be a success.

At 40, people are performing brain surgery, running companies, giving televised speeches before 650 fellow MPs in the House of Commons and many more occupations. Even plein air painters set up their kit in the middle of a street. In other words, confidence, aka the ability to give zero fucks, is something that comes to many with age and experience.

Love the relatability & friendliness of people up north. As a northerner working in London the chance of this happening, just someone actually talking and being pleasant is so rare so this is therapy for me.
